I feel that in may ways my greatest flaw is that too often I desire peace over justice and comfort over righteousness. I don't know what I want to ask about or what I want. Encouragement, advice, discussion. How do I overcome being a glutenous, lazy, coward?

By getting trained in accepting reproach/afflictions than fall for doing iniquities ,be it even getting into mood for vain talk.Remember its to be trained to achieve..

Not everyone is apt to confrontation, but that kind of diversity is what makes interpersonal dynamics so interesting! I like that you desire peace and comfort, even if there is err to that kind of personality (but lets face it, there's err in all of us).

Some habits are more difficult to break than others. It takes a lot of work and attention to dispel things we consider bad personality traits; they're so ingrained, we often do them unwittingly. Be mindful, pursue relationships with people you respect and feel represent what you'd like to be more like, and spend time praying/meditating on it. In time, you may surprise yourself.

I think we all fit some of those descriptions above....yes....comfortable conformity is never a good thing.

In one sentence, (I highlighted) you made me question where I might truly be too.
Actually, I think in your one simple sentence you've manage to sum up a bulk of today's Christians?

I personally seek answers and guidance from Him.

That is always the answer to when we are confused and seek answers. It's not all we can do, but a great start.

Pone thing I can tell you is that beating ourselves up doesn't help, beleive me I constantly do it. xD and I think often that is the human condition as well, peace and comfort all the time. But I think realizing God knows this, loves us anyways, and wants to sanctify us helps so much. All I can say is pray for wisdom Im your decisions and the Holy Spirit to light your way.
