This is difficult for me. People have little time to explain things. We're not all theology students. We can't all afford it. Getting a baptism from a priest is like walking over hot coals to get ointment for your injured feet, that your asked to walk over before you can have it. I would like to know, can one baptise oneself. Christ was baptised by another. You just have to ask as faith is the baptism,yes?

why would you worry if one can baptise onself. does scripture tell you to do this. Thats what I mean, Your reading to much into it..
And should you bot be more worried about being baptised by God himself into Christ?

Do you have social anxiety? (Since you see it as a terrible thing to talk to a priest about baptism?)
I've lived in the UK for three years, I know there are plenty of churches where you can ask questions, and I doubt they will attack you for it

I have spoken to priests, but they basically say they don't give them out until they feel, personally, your OK to have one. Basically prove yourself, how. Give to the church, do namesakes, turn up. Really, that's the only option unless you beg.
It sounds to me as if you need to find another church... one without "ordained priests"... we are ALL priests in Christ's kingdom.
Sounds as if you're like that old country song... "Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places"... but you're looking for Jesus in the wrong places.
Try to find a good, Bible believing/teaching church... one that is NOT tied to the government...
I mean, really..... how long did the Ethiopian eunuch "go to church"? How many offerings did HE give? He said to Philip.... "look, here is some water... what would prevent me from being baptized?" And they did... right away.

Jesus was concerned about her sin. He would have said the same after His death and resurrection. Her sin was adultery. He was warning of what would happen if she continued in it.
But He knew she could adhere to not committing adultery.
His words would have been the same. Do not sin less a worse thing befall you.
I think they don't feel comfortable giving them out "Willy billy", as if they're doing something, maybe wrong. As if there's either no need, or fear of understating baptism. This was the Anglican and evangelist churches. I only want a baptism to stop my mind flip flopping between thinking, did I, do I, have enough faith. To make me physically and mentally stronger in accepting I do have enough for god to forgive me and Christ to save me. Otherwise uncertainty and fear/worry may keep creeping in. Whatever, I just accept I do, but so many feelings try to con me out of acceptance. Suppose I'm weaker than I thought and need even more help from the trinity.
You need to seek a church who will baptise you freely when you commit your life to Jesus Christ. Being baptised means that you recognise that you have died with Christ, and wish to live a new life, with Christ living through you (Rom 6.4). Is this what you really want? It costs you nothing, but results in costing you everything,

Your probably right, I can't find it, but I saw another sentence that I'm curious about.
Luke: 9:61. And 62.
A man asks to follow jesus, but requests to say goodbye to his family.
62. Jesus replied, no-one who puts a hand to the plough and looks back is fit for service in the kingdom of God.
Because he said this, does it mean we should leave everything without notice. Not worry at all about any care of family or occurrences. Follow a path without thinking about the past, and only keep sight of things ahead or now? Seems a little cruel, or irresponsible in some way. Especially as I think he said, we are better serving if people leave their families, as he could do little works in his hometown etc? Thoughts.
I would offer.that we get to the foundation of water baptism.
Baptism done with human hands is different than the baptism of the Holy Spirit, not done with hands.
All Christians receive the Holy Spirit by trusting God’s word that works in them to both will and do his god pleasure . In that way as a work of the Spirit of God we begin with the hearing of faith as the first work Christ works in us and end with the same hearing of the faith of God.
He does all the work of saving us from eternal separation never to come to new spirit life again.
There are no signs gifts that can indicate a person has the Holy Spirit or would give them the comfort by performing it .It’s not something you can judge others with or one’s self. Just like the Sabbath days ceremonial laws.
Baptism done with human hands as that seen with our eyes is a ceremonial law that comes from one having a personal desire to do the work of a priest by perform the duties. The kingdom of God is not of this world therefore God shows us outwardly in ceremonial laws using the temporal flesh and other metaphors that speak of eternal things not seen in parables that are designed to hide the spiritual meaning from the lost. Keeping in mind the principle found below needed to rightly divide the word of God.
2Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal
That priesthood that we can see with our eyes outwardly reflects the eternal priesthood of the Son of God It began with Arron from the tribe of Levi. All member of the tribe of Levi were not Priest just as all Priest were not from the tribe of Levi.
But if not of the tribe of Levi they would need to be baptized by an authorized person to outwardly as a ceremonial law show their desire to God that they were ready to begin the ministry.
This can be seen with the Son of man who obeyed the old testament requirement for becoming priset and then could perform the ministry .
There was a discussion in regard to that Old testament ceremonial law between the Jews and John’s disciples as to the validity of the Son of man, Jesus who was previously baptized by John as to why he was baptizing seeing he came from the tribe of Judah .
Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying.And they came unto John, and said unto him, Rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou barest witness, behold, the same baptizeth, and all men come to him.John answered and said, A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven. Joh 3:25
Because Christ was the high priest used in that demonstration. We can now follow after the order of Melchisedec. No outward representation as a Levi after the flesh of a Jew .today its jew and gentile alike just as it is male and female that can perform those priestly duties of going out into the world to make disciples of men. in that way all Christian can become a priest as we hold out the gospel of salvation. Today men are still performing that ceremonial law when they have a desire to serve in that way .
But it’s nothing to concern oneself with and judge another as if they sin by not splashing water on one’s self if it ceremonial (outward) it not a requirement. But more of a public announce in a hope god is calling a person to become a member of the ongoing priesthood. .Some are called in respect to that priestly ministry and some not. Like the Levi not all Levites were priest.
