Let’s be very clear: The life of an American pilot is priceless. Bringing him home was worth every single penny.
This rescue wasn’t a disaster — it was a demonstration of American excellence. Our Special Forces, pilots, and support crews moved with speed, precision, and overwhelming capability to recover our men. That is what a serious nation does. We don’t abandon our people behind enemy lines. We don’t calculate the cost of American blood and then shrug. We go get them, no matter the expense.
The left’s obsession with the dollar figure reveals everything wrong with their worldview. They treat American lives as just another line item on a budget spreadsheet. The Islamic regime is posting videos and photos of the U.S. aircraft which the U.S. bombed intentionally to protect the intel within the plane during the historic rescue operation of two U.S. pilots in enemy territory. The regime is posting this as if they had some kind of success, when in reality, the U.S. and Israel successfully rescued both airmen with zero casualties and managed to prevent intel from within the aircraft from falling into enemy hands as well. If this is what the regime thinks “winning” is then give me more.
