The President just gave America its first preview of what 2028 might look like — and he did it with the two men standing right beside him.
In an interview on Tuesday, President Donald Trump said that a potential 2028 Republican presidential ticket of Vice President JD Vance and Secretary of State Marco Rubio would be “very unbeatable.” Trump told the New York Post’s Miranda Devine that he has been “studying” the relationship between the two men with an eye on succession. “I studied them to see if they like each other,” he said. “JD and Marco would be a great team. I think the two of them running together as a team would be very unbeatable.” 
Trump noted that both men are “very talented” and declined to specify which role — president or vice president — he envisions for each, saying simply: “They’re both young guys.”  Rubio has already publicly stated that if Vance runs for president in 2028, he will be “one of the first people to support him.”  Meanwhile Trump has also occasionally floated the idea of an unprecedented third term for himself, though the Constitution prohibits it.
JD Vance is 41. Marco Rubio is 54. One is a Yale-educated combat veteran from Ohio who converted to Catholicism. The other is the son of Cuban immigrants who came to America with nothing and rose to become the nation’s top diplomat. The contrast between their backgrounds and their shared worldview is exactly the kind of story that connects with tens of millions of Americans.
Whether 2028 unfolds this way remains to be seen. But the groundwork is already being laid — and it is being laid openly.

For the first time in American history, members of an Antifa cell have been convicted on federal terrorism charges — and a Texas jury delivered the verdict.
A federal jury in Texas convicted nine members of the North Texas Antifa Cell on charges including rioting, using weapons and explosives, providing material support to terrorists, obstruction, and attempted murder — marking the first time Antifa members have been convicted on federal domestic terrorism charges in the United States.  The group was convicted of charges related to an attack on the Prairieland ICE Detention Center in Alvarado, Texas, and the attempted murder of an Alvarado police officer, both occurring on July 4, 2025.  The 12-day trial began on February 23, 2026, with jurors hearing testimony from more than 45 witnesses and considering over 210 exhibits.  Seven additional members had previously pleaded guilty to providing material support to terrorists, bringing the total convicted to sixteen.
The verdict was mixed — most defendants were convicted of providing material support to terrorists, while only one, Benjamin Song, was convicted of the attempted murder of the police officer who was shot in the neck while responding to a 911 call. He survived and has since returned to active duty. 
The broader significance is undeniable. For years, political violence carried out under the Antifa banner was met with minimal federal prosecution. That changed under Trump’s designation of Antifa as a domestic terror organization — and now a federal jury in Texas has set a legal precedent that will apply in courtrooms across the country.

This isn’t about politics—it’s about performance. Merit-based hiring stays intact, but endless appeals and protections that let bad actors sabotage policy or waste taxpayer dollars are gone. No more rogue employees slow-walking or blocking the agenda Americans voted for.

Feds Storm LA Ballot Processing Center as California Voter Fraud Probes Explode
Federal prosecutors are finally cracking down on California's rigged election machine. An Assistant US Attorney was caught on video touring the massive Los Angeles ballot processing center Friday, just as First Assistant US Attorney Bill Essayli announced multiple active federal voter fraud investigations with the FBI.
Essayli slammed the state's reckless universal mail-in voting and no-ID rules, calling them "serious structural vulnerabilities" that let fraud slip through undetected and unpunished. His office is also pushing a full voter roll audit with Assistant AG Harmeet Dhillon to purge ineligible voters — something California Democrats have fought tooth and nail.
