The plane made an emergency landing at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞. Both pilots were hospitalized, and reports say the co-pilot was arrested.

Most ships are now ignoring Iran’s demands and crossing with the promise of American naval protection. CNN also reports that Iran, unable to move its own oil past the U.S. blockade, has answered with more attacks on tankers, which is what a regime does when its key source of leverage is slipping.
Oil is still above $100 a barrel this morning, and CNN says Iran can’t keep this up forever. But the leverage the regime counted on to squeeze your gas pump is now being taken away by the U.S. Navy, one escorted tanker at a time.

Attorney General Todd Blanche announced the DOJ has filed a complaint with the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals against all but one active District Court judge in Minnesota.
The DOJ alleges the judges violated judicial conduct rules by speaking publicly to The New York Times about immigration enforcement operations and matters involving cases before the courts.
Blanche says the department is asking the Eighth Circuit to investigate and for the judges to recuse themselves from cases involving DHS while the matter is reviewed.

The anchor put the cause plainly. Thanks to efforts by the U.S. Navy, CNN reports, more and more oil tankers are getting through the strait, 𝐟𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐨𝐫 𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐈𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬.
CNN’s numbers back it up. Citing Kpler, oil flows through the strait averaged 13.1 million barrels a day last week, just under 80% of the prewar 17.1 million. More than 80% of recent liquids transits used the Omani route, a UN-authorized channel Iran vehemently opposes.
Most ships are now ignoring Iran’s demands and crossing with the promise of American naval protection. CNN also reports that Iran, unable to move its own oil past the U.S. blockade, has answered with more attacks on tankers, which is what a regime does when its key source of leverage is slipping.
Oil is still above $100 a barrel this morning, and CNN says Iran can’t keep this up forever. But the leverage the regime counted on to squeeze your gas pump is now being taken away by the U.S. Navy, one escorted tanker at a time.

Capt. Smit Machchhar was stabbed in his own cockpit, by the Omani co-pilot sitting next to him, on a flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv. Accounts circulating Wednesday say he got the cockpit door open anyway, which is what let the crew and passengers step in.
Machchhar is a 13-year veteran with about 𝟗,𝟕𝟓𝟎 𝐟𝐥𝐲𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 on Boeing 737s and a former SpiceJet line training captain (The Week). Fox’s coverage put it at nearly 10,000 hours in the air.
The jet dropped nearly 14,000 feet in under 30 seconds and squawked the code for unlawful interference, which is why Israel scrambled fighter jets (The Week). The plane made an emergency landing at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, with 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞. Both pilots were hospitalized, and reports say the co-pilot was arrested.

They called Trump a liar. They said Americans are too ignorant to understand the war. They said if voters “knew more,” they would take other decisions.
Translation: Iran wants a DEMOCRAT Congress.
That is an enemy regime trying to pick America’s midterms.
Democrats have been running the same argument for months. Blame Trump. Blame the war. Blame Israel. Soften the country up until Tehran can walk in and finish the speech.

Let’s be honest about the scoreboard. 3.0% is still a full point above the Fed’s 2% target, and families are still paying more at the register than they were. But the direction is what matters, and it is heading the right way five weeks before voters weigh in on who handled the economy.
Every cooler print is one less talking point for people who spent a year predicting the opposite.

We haven't built a full fledged refinery in this county in 50 years...and 3 California refineries have closed under the leadership of Governor Newsom. Oil being not-that-high and gas prices being WAY high might be a refining issue.
