The same voices who spent months insisting the Strait of Hormuz was a closed door just got run over by the tape. JPMorgan estimates put crude flows at about 17.5 million barrels a day, roughly 98% of pre-war levels, while a 10-day average for total oil exports has held near 20.5 million barrels a day. Saudi Arabia has partially restored the East-West pipeline after last month’s drone hit and is loading tankers again on the Red Sea, even as Gulf terminals and shuttle runs push more barrels east. Wall Street Journal reporting this week described Iran’s chokehold breaking down as producers and the U.S. Navy got better at moving cargo through and around the strait. The recovery the pessimists called impossible is already on the water.
Tehran is the exception, and that is the point. Iranian crossings have stayed near zero since the United States put the maritime blockade back in place in July. Trackers say the floating barrels Iran had parked outside the blockade are draining, with some estimates that those stores could run thin by mid-October. Gulf neighbors rebuilt exits, pipelines to the Red Sea and Fujairah, ship-to-ship transfers, southern-corridor runs under U.S. cover, while Iran’s revenue line stayed shut. That is leverage, not a logistics accident. Washington does not need to sprint into a weak deal to reopen a tap the blockade already closed.
President Trump’s bet was simple: squeeze the regime, keep allied oil moving, and refuse a panic settlement. Seven months after the war shut the strait, non-Iranian Gulf crude is back near its old pace, Saudi repairs are putting bypass barrels on ships again, and the world is not begging Tehran for a rescue cargo. Iran can keep threatening the waterway. The barrels are leaving anyway, and they are not Iran’s.

BREAKING: The Postmaster General has announced that the USPS will not deliver mail-in ballots for the 2026 midterm elections to states that refuse to comply with President Trump’s election integrity executive order.
States that do not provide voter rolls or cooperate with federal efforts to verify citizenship and eligibility will not receive USPS services for mailing ballots.
This is a major step to enforce clean voter rolls and ensure only eligible American citizens can vote.

No, because the order just means the USPS will hold any mail that is clearly marked as a ballot... but if you send in your ballot w/the ballot envelope inside another envelope, they have know way of knowing for sure that its a ballot, so they can't hold it- and its not illegal to send in your ballot that way.

Senator Chuck Grassley exposed the pair of 'activist' judges during a hearing on the Arctic Frost investigation saying Chief Judge Howell “even met privately with the partisan prosecution to help them map out strategy,”
and that Howell and Chief Judge Boasberg “complicitly rubber stamped” orders that hid phone-record subpoenas from the people who were being spied on.

Grassley released the underlying Justice Department briefing back in March and Judicial Watch sued the department in June to get every calendar entry, note, and recording of those meetings.
Those extra records are not out yet.
Jack Smith indicted President Donald Trump on 37 federal counts in Miami in June 2023 in the unclassified documents case where it was discovered that the images claiming Classified documents were found at Mar-a-Lago were staged.
