Hi!!I've been a Christian nearly a year now, and I'm dying to get my hands on a good inspiring collection of Christian music. I just have no idea where to start!! I've heard some nice stuff on long Christian popular compilations on YouTube, but I don't know who the artists are. Any suggestions or favorites? Thanks!

That's still quite vague. Music is very subjective and modern can mean anything from Nickleback to Nikki Minaj. Two modern, popular groups yet very different ends of the musical spectrum.
Being vague is actually counterproductive because people won't answer due to not knowing what direction to head. Give genres or specific artists that you enjoy , it gives people a better idea. P
Christian music ranges from hymns to blues to rap to death metal and everything in between.
It depends on what your favorite style is. Today a lot of Christian music has all types of styles. Do you have Spotify? This is where I get a lot of my new music. You can search for gospel music, Christian inspirational, contemporary Christian, worship etc... I notice when I listen to my favorite style more songs come up that are similar. Also, check out your local Christian stations. They will also play a nice variety and then you can search a song you like. I listen to His Radio on the internet. When they play songs the name of the song, along with the artist is listed. I hope this helps.
