The department in which I work hired a new manager late last year, so only a month is not enough time for a new manager to get two feet on the ground. It took our new manager roughly 3 to 4 months to begin to get up to speed and thought she did especially well since everyone is working remotely and has not been in the same room with any of her employees.

That said, in your situation I caution patience because from everything I have read there is expected to be a high volume of resignations once the pandemic begins to subside. So who knows what type of unique and exciting opportunities that might open up. Hang in there- you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, I agree. I would think it would take 3 months to learn a manager's job, but I will spare people the details. Just think God has other plans for me, it could of worked out, but it wasn't my calling.
 
Well, the interview never happened. I'm waiting here about two hours, thinking is this some sort of test, or did I just get stood up on a job interview?!?! This happened to me before, still got the job, but had to wait two hours in the lobby, waiting for the manager to pop out.

I'm waiting three hours and calling it cancelled. lol
 
Well, the guy that was suppose to do the interview said, he had an emergency. I asked to reschedule the interview and received no response. It worked out I suppose, since I qualified for unemployment insurance. The economy seems to be slowly opening up and see tons of jobs to apply for, so see where God leads. Something will shake out soon. After three weeks off from work, I feel like a brand new person.
