On the bottom right hand side of every post, you will see options, such as Reply and Reply With Quote. If you reply with the quote, people will know to whom and/or to what you are responding. This may come in handy when you start posting in other forums 
Also, once you compose a post, you can Go Advanced to see what it looks like before committing it to the board. This is especially handy if you are using different fonts, or pasting anything from another site, because the text size may not be right. Above each text box are options for changing the font size, as well as adding images or a youtube video. Some like to change the font colour also 
Once you make a post, you have five minutes of time to edit it if you see errors you would like to correct. During the first sixty seconds of edit, no note is added to your post, but after that, a note will be added saying the post was edited.

After you select Reply With Quote, position your cursor in the text box after the closing quote tag at the end of the other person's message, and start typing there
You will get the hang of it eventually!
