I believe the best translation/version is the one people will continue to read and understand for themselves with the help of the Holy Spirit.
I would also like to own a great bible aswell as a genevian bible but I do not trust the new translations
Read Dr. Whites book and you'll get the truth of the matter on new versions. Don't allow YouTube videos to poison your mind. Seriously look at the characters in the videos promoting this stuff.

Well aside from videos what evidence do you have to trust or mistrust a bible version? Videos alone are not enough you have to do research and connect facts. If it's translation that you are talking then no bible can be trusted because the bible's original text was written in Greek and in Hebrew and the fact it is in english no matter what form of english means that some of the meaning of the text will be lost. But the holy spirit speaking to us through scripture is not limit by such things this is why there is no true version of the bible because unless you have the original hebrew and greek text and can read them then the argument of versions of the bible is irrelevant
It is the subtilty of the changes made in the new bible versions for when you are in the meat stage of the bible, the NIV is fine for John 3:16 messages (Milk stages) but it does target certain doctrine and I have read this for myself.
What I don't trust about the new bible versions is that they have to change the wording of their texts so taht they don't have to pay royalities to other publishing houses and maximise profits. these big publishing houses come under the new world order companies. Rupert Murdoch has his fingers in the NIV Pie... draw your own conclusions
If you are referring to James White, how can you get the "truth" when the man is biased? No, if you want the truth, go back to what Burgon, Scrivener, Hoskier, and many others have written while presenting the truth. There are also many other recent books on the subject where you will get the truth. There are also many web sites through which you can learn much.
White isn't biased, he's informed, consistent, honest. He's only biased to you because he totally refutes KJVO cultism.
