And this panic could have been averted if the USA had acted more quickly.
Investors know this going to be bad.
Our economy is probably 70 percent if not more service industry ... places like that cannot survive a lengthy shut down and because decisive action was delayed things will be much worse before they get better.

homelessness unfortunately yes as time goes on on earth.

as far as the virus it will before its gets better but it will at least become manageable. as in china just the basic use of alcohol products has vastly slowed down the spread.

I agree.. a bigger picture for sure, however we should take this seriously if not for yourself for those more vulnerable in society... that is all I am saying basically.

you said something that stuck me (new laws) i hope these do not become the normal as in long term laws
 
test kits in china haven't slowed down the spread it was the wide spread use of disinfection's spray and hand sanitation and mask on those who did have it so they didn't know who did and who didn't so everyone was required and that might come to america the required mask. i am ok with wearing one if i am required to do so in public for now. if i have to wear it for months and months forget it arrest me i do not care i will take my chances along with the other 80 contagious diseases.

this might get to a point where we just have to accept it

Malaria causes more than three hundred million illnesses and kills at least one million people every year.

I think a lot of people are taking this seriously in fact I think most people are taking it too seriously.. They need to remember Gods in control
 
182,438 cases of the corona virus and 7,157 deaths as of today

so if this tread of the corona virus continues for a whole year, its been going on for about 3 months.

that would be 729752 cases and 28628 deaths, that total would not match the total of deaths from just one disease Malaria and there is 80 contagious disease that are in the world.

Even funerals and weddings are not to be more than 20 people.

I don't know how long it will go on...Hopefully not long.

The other situation is whether workplaces that are to be closed will still pay their workers a salary.

Perhaps the best solution is for everyone to wear a mask and get on with life. If you can get a mask that is. Oh boy

Yeah, but that is not a fancy illness like this corona going around. Compared to malaria, the coronavirus doesn't move the needle on the virulent virus scale.

i suspect not for long i give it month any more and people will become less content to stay in doors or at home. if workplaces stay closed for to long business might belly up and that is worse than dealing with the virus if there is no economy, be like the dark ages when learning structures fell and business were null.

The increase in cases is not linear but exponentiel which means millions of deaths just in the US in less than a year.

its said to be around a 2% death ratio lets say its 10% that would mean the cases would have to jump to 100 million at a 10% ratio with 10 million dead. well at even a 10% ration your talking about almost every person in america getting it, that isn't happening in other countries why would millions upon millions just in America sorry but that isn't sound logic in my opinion

If no hard measures are taken 60% of US population could be infected (which is confirmed by the current data curves) which means millions of deaths even for a 2% death rate.

i have no idea where you heard that from but that is way way blown out of proportion.
