That's false because if one lives after the flesh (sin) they disqualify themselves from salvation because they have turned away from the Lord to walk after the flesh rather than after the Spirit.
You've hit it square on the head without soft-soaking it.

I believe the strong delusion sent to people naming Christ, is the Faith Alone justification. From the outset, they are contradicting Scripture, that declares Faith Alone is dead, and cannot save nor justify the person. They have already accepted in their hearts as plain a lie against Christ's words, as possible.

Then they openly preach religious hypocrisy: That their Faith Alone continues to justify them, while doing an unrighteous work. Who they are on the inside, is not who they are on the outside. I know I still do bad things, but my heart is still good.

But worse than this self-justification, is their hypocritical condemnation of others, that do the same thing. While they are not condemned for their own sinning, others are. Why? Because others do not have their own Faith Alone to justify them who doing such things.

Which once again, is a plain lie against God's condemnation for such blatant hypocrisy:

Rom 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?...For there is no respect of persons with God.

By their own Faith Alone 'in Christ', they have completely divorced themselves from their own works. The speak of being justified by their Faith Alone without works, when they practice being justified apart from their works.

Good and evil doing is no longer what God judges us by, but rather only what we believe. And so, if we believe we are justified, then we are. And nothing we do at the time can make us unjustified with Christ.

And what of righteous people, who know we are not justified with God, while doing evil? Well, we just don't have strong enough Faith Alone in our own justification.

Strong Faith Alone in being justified while doing unrighteousness like the world, is strong delusion by searing the conscience against the Spirit's convicting judgment against doing evil:

Heb 10:28
He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses: Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of God, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?

Rom 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God? Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

Romans 8:1
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
They always stop at them which are in Christ Jesus. Which they say is themselves by their own Faith Alone in Christ.

They do not go on to the justification of Scripture, which is only to them not walking after the flesh, but only after the Spirit.

In all reality those claiming we are saved by faith alone are keeping the door open for others to believe they can live in sin and still be saved (OSAS heresy) which is one of satan's favorite deceptions.
Exactly. They preach they are not condemned when transgressing the word of the Lord. But they are not 'licensing' sin for the believers.

Faith Alone justification is all a delusional carnal minded game. They say they don't license sinning, but in practice they sin without condemnation.

I have met Christians naming Christ, who openly flaunt their continued sinning, because their Faith Alone teaches them, that they are not condemned for it like the 'unbelievers'. One particular man said he would continue to fornicate from time to time, because he already knew he would be forgiven by his Faith Alone.

In fact, he already was forgiven for his future fornication, because the Faith Alone delusion also teaches all their past, present, and future trespasses are already forgiven.

This is some of the devil's best work as it deceives people in to believing they are Christians when in reality they are not where all they have is false man made carnal minded religion instead of actually having salvation causing them to walk in agreement with the Lord.
True. And what was the lie of the serpent?

Gen 3:4
And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Simple: the people of God shall surely not die to the Spirit, by their own transgression.

Ye shall not surely be condemned and die for doing evil. Because you are forever securely saved and justified by your Faith Alone. Ye are as living gods, that shall never die. Your justification is not conditional, because your works have nothing to do with your saving Faith Alone.

1Co 13:13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

Gal 5:6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Charity, love in action, works, is greater than faith.

And faith works by love.

Well said.

James{2:21}
Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar? Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Working faith justifies the believer. Faith not doing work, justifies no one. Faith without works is dead, being alone.

James{2:21}
And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God.

The righteousness counted to Abraham by faith toward God, was not fulfilled, until Abraham did the work of faith toward God.

1Co 13:2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.

Paul said he could have all faith so that he could remove mountains but if he did not have charity then he is nothing.
Excellent. Having faith alone without doing good, is nothing to God nor man.

Jas 2:18
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

'Faith Alone' is only an ideology of the mind, not a working faith from the heart.

Mainly because you don’t know what people mean by it and not once have you asked someone what they mean when they say it.
By listening to Faith Alone Christians for years, I know all the forms and variations of it. The common denominator is simple: So long as anyone has Faith Alone in Christ, then they are justified with Christ, including while sinning against God.

Do you object? Are you condemned, if you are doing an unrighteous deed? Or, are you justified by your Faith Alone?

But this is like your 4th thread you’ve started on how faith alone is bad.
So, you're a follower. An objectionable one, but obviously a follower. Since you object so much, why follow? Sort of like a moth drawn to the flame? Or, maybe just a troller? Is this simply a lead up to demanding I stop posting? Why don't you just stop following?

In any case, they are all Bible teachings, that in one way or another reject any Faith Alone justification. Which is obviously what you are objecting to.

You don’t have to post a wall of scripture with every post.
So, it's posting Scriptures to prove the argument, that you object to.

Matth 12:37
For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned…for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

Just because most Faith Alone Christians only repeat their personal ideology without quoting Scripture, doesn't mean no Christians are allowed to quote Scripture for what we teach.

Act 17:11
These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

I especially like Paul, because he's always quoting OT Scripture to prove NT doctrine of Christ. So, I'll not stop posting what I learn from Scripture, and especially not stop quoting Scripture to teach it.
NOONE IS SAYING THAT THEY ARE SAVED BY DEAD FAITH.
Of course not. Just saved by Faith Alone, which is dead, being without works.

You are confusing what Faith Alone Christians say, vs what Scripture says of Faith Alone.

THEY ARE NOT TALKING ABOUT BEING SAVED BY FAITH WITHOUT WORKS.
Once again, they talk about being saved by Faith Alone without works. Some go further to say they are saved by Faith Alone Standing Alone without works. Some just say saved by Faith Alone.

So, what are you talking about? Being saved by faith with works? If so, then you're the one, that doesn't know what Faith Alone Christians say.

WOULD IT MAKE YOU HAPPIER IF EVERYONE JUST SAID SAVED ONLY BY FAITH INSTEAD OF FAITH ALONE?
It's always best just to quote the Scripture, For by grace are ye saved through faith; But that's only for Christians that don't object to quoting Scripture.

In any case, I've not yet heard from any Faith Alone Christian, that did not always include Alone, or as here Only. Which is always to ensure their personal salvation and justification has nothing to do with works. For, if saved by Faith Alone, and Only by Faith, then it must be without works...

And news flash. You’re not perfect.
This is where the convicted conscience always resorts to, "Oh yeah! Well, you're not Mr Perfect yourself, bub!"

Finding fault with the messenger has nothing to do with the true judgment of the message.

Rom 10:16
But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report…For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written,

And of course, the unspoken secret thing being said is, that if everyone's doing it, then no one can be condemned for doing it. Safety and Security by numbers.

1Th 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Rom 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?...For there is no respect of persons with God.

Your interpretations aren’t perfect.
And once again, just another typical na-ah response.

You see, what's missing in all these usual objections and condemnations of yours. You don't address any single point of the teaching from Scripture, much less show any error in it. Which is always the case with Faith Alone Christians.

You just fall back on the usual accusations and pointless objections. Which is confusing, since apparently you don't even agree with salvation by Faith Alone without works. And that's fine, but don't speak for others, as though they all agree with you.

You tell a Faith Alone Christian, that no one is saved by faith without works, and you'll get the long knives too. Such as, you don't understand Faith Alone salvation. You're just preaching works-based salvation. Besides, you're just a sinner like them too. And you're also proud, thinking you're saved by your works, etc...

You still sin. You still make mistakes. You are human. It’s ok. We all make mistakes and all sin. It’s ok to fall as long as you pick yourself back up, dust yourself off and try again.
See what I mean. Are you sure you don't say salvation is by Faith Alone without works?

In any case, this is a perfect personal message of 'Better Homes and Gardens' religion of Faith Alone Christianity:

1. Sinning is just a mistake. (Even a natural mistake, since sin is in the flesh.)

2. You're only human. (Not a saint like Jesus)

3. All Faith Alone Christians make mistakes and sin against God.

4. And, that's OK.

Doesn't having a license to do something, make it OK to do it? I trow so...

And of course. No Scripture quoted. Which is typical of Faith Alone Christians, who only repeat their learned ideology, without any wall of Scriptures getting in the way.

There are no "works" of the Spirit.

Jhn 4:24
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

Ecc 11:5
As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all.

God is a spirit. He does the works of God. Man created in God's image, has a spirit that does the works of a man.

Mat 5:28
But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

It's the inward works of the spirit, that God judges first, whether good or evil.

A spirit of man that is not working, is as a dead body that is not breathing.
There is the fruit of the Spirit. Jesus said that by our fruits the world will know us. (Matthew 7:16).
Mat 12:33
Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

Producing fruit is the work of the tree.

2 pet 1:4
And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness; And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity. For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Works of virtue, godliness, and charity produce the fruits of faith. Man without works is a tree without fruits.

"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, / gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law." Galatians 5:22 & 23
And the love of the Spirit without works, is a vain fruit show:

1Jo 3:18
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

What do you mean by works? Giving to the poor? Attending church on Saturday? Studying the Bible 20 minutes a day? Praying and fasting? The Pharisees did all these things and better than most.
If religious acts are all you know about works, then it's because you no nothing of the works of the spirit and of God.

Natural man only sees the outward works of the body, because he rejects the things of the spirit of man.

1Co 2:14
But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

God and the spiritual man, sees the works of the spirit in the heart first:

Rev 2:5
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

I better not do those things. Yet I do them, have don e them and might do them again. Lord how can I stop those things and remain humble in them? You know, I trust you to teach me 1 John 2:27
1Jo 2:1
My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Rom 7:24,
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? I thank God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Our own faith alone, will always fail. If we can ask for Jesus' faith, then we will walk as Jesus. Jesus' faith never fails.

Ezekiel 36:26-27

26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. 27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

I see to trust you now in risen Son,...No more relying on self, even part time
This is Jesus' faith. Trusting in Jesus not to sin, but to do good.

When we trust in Jesus' faith to walk as He walked, then we have no thought nor care for sinning against Him. It become easy to walk with Jesus by His faith, and not our own alone:

Mat 11:28
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Mat 6:34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

1Pe 5:6
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

God gives us good gifts. Matt 7;11. The faith He gifts is a living faith. The kind that produces works. He wouldn't gift us a dead faith.
True. His living faith is always doing good, and never alone.

Jhn 8:29
And he that sent me is with me: the Father hath not left me alone; for I do always those things that please him.

Gal 2:20
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

You almost had it. Works don't save us but to say they have no participation in salvation is either the result of blindness of Scripture or ignorance.
Exactly.

The problem of saving Faith Alone without works, is when that Faith Alone is all that justifies us, apart from our works.

Even while doing evil deeds, that Faith Alone becomes the justifier. Not Jesus Christ the righteous, who never justifies anyone doing an evil work.

NightTwister said:
No, I actually had it. You can try to work your way there and hope in the end you get there. I have the confidence that I'm going there.
The first part is a misrepresented lie. The second part is pride in one's own faith alone.
No you have the sin of presumption.

If works complete faith as James teaches then by definition so faith alone is insufficient. It would help you if you knew what sufficient meant
Exactly. The presumption of going there while sinning.

Faith Alone justification is confidence in sinning our way to heaven.

Eze 13:10
Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with untempered morter:

1Th 5:3
For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Have you ever asked another person what they mean by "faith alone"?
Have you ever corrected another person what you mean by "faith alone"?

Or, as I am almost certain, have you just made up your own definition and spent untold hours composing rants against your self-invented misinterpretation?

Or, as I am sure, have you just made up your own definition and spent untold hours composing rants instead of correction?

In all these Faith Alone rants against a simple teaching of Scripture, there's not one thing pointed out about the teaching, to show it's not Scriptural. Their rants are against the Scriptures being taught:

Just_A__Follower said:

The strong delusion is your continued misrepresentation of what we mean by "Faith Alone"

When you show any misrepresentation, then I'll be glad to look at it. Until then, "Faith Alone" is confident you're going to heaven just because you believe it.

NightTwister said:

This is no different from any other religious faith of man, that has confidence in going to heaven, and not hell. Some Islamists are confident there will be virgins waiting for them too.

A tree does not work. It bears fruit depending on what kind of tree it is. Peopleth can do any amount of things if they worketh at it.

You should try reading all of the Bible.
"By their fruit you will recognize them. Are grapes gathered from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?" Matthew 7:16

"Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Luke 12:27

Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

Making the tree do good or evil, is doing work. Else doing is not doing, and work is not work. As a tree is known by it's fruit, a man is known by his deeds. Only by Faith alone without works, does a person deny we are what we do.

Faith Alone without works has fruit alone without deeds: A vain fruit show. Production without work, produces nothing. Else production is not production, and work is not work.

Productive non-work, is not productive work. Faith Alone without works, is dysfunctional even in the natural things.

Jas 2:18
Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works.

Without faith there is no fruit. Without works, there is no faith nor fruit.

Jas 2:18

Love of the Spirit without works, is only lip-service.

1Jo 3:18
My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.

Mat 15:8
This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

Faith without works is a heart without faith. Fruit without works is with the lips alone.

James 2:15
If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food, And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?

A spirit that has no works, has a faith without spirit.

"Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these." Luke 12:27
Lilies have no fruit. Like faith without works, they are only for show.

By the fruit of the tree we are not known, not by the flower of a plant.

The Spirit of God works to create, and man works to produce fruit for eating. No work, no produce to eat.

Mar 11:13
And seeing a fig tree afar off having leaves, he came, if haply he might find any thing thereon: and when he came to it, he found nothing but leaves; for the time of figs was not yet. And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever.

Men don't eat of lily flowers nor of fig leaves. Nor by Faith Alone.

Does a man eat by Faith Alone without works? Only freeloaders. Faith Alone Christianity is a bum ride. It doesn't produce fruit to eat, nor resurrection from the dead to life.

Collosians{3:23}
And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Faith Alone having fruit without works, has no reward of eternal inheritance by resurrection from the dead.

2Co 5:9
Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

Fruit without labor is not accepted by the Lord, no more than fig leaves without figs.

Balony. Australia's aborigines used to live off the land. They would eat whatever they found. It's called "bush tucker". Like Adam and Eve, all they did was pluck it off the plants.

Yes, God rewards works. That is not the proof of salvation. You present the argument that unbelievers use. "How can God condemn someone who does so much good?" You get salvation back to front and you therefore have no assurance of salvation. It does not depend on you, it is entirely dependent on the finished work of Christ at Calvary. Worse, you try to convince others of your foolishness.
