Has anybody ever noticed that when somebody usually uses these two words that they have usually just said something that people take offense to? If a person has to end the sentence with "no offense" then they should probably rethink what they are going to say before they even open their mouth.
Why would somebody say something offensive and then try to take it back by saying "no offense"...? Some things are better off being unsaid.
What about when somebody says something that you wouldn't normally take offense to and then they end the sentence with "no offense" almost as if they were intending to offend somebody in the first place, but are using that phrase to cover themself because they know they just said something offensive.
How many of you have encountered this?
