Oh I dunno. Maybe has something to do with denying free will? Tell me did Adam have free will? Cain?

Yes they did, this is why they fell. Otherwise, we wouldn’t be having this conversation; we would be immortal, living in the perfect garden, and having no clue as to what sin is, living on the most perfect planet with God.

Jn 6:44

44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

No man can come here means no man has the ability to come to Christ. That cancels out the myth that man has a freewill,

It also means that no man has the ability to believe on Christ for Salvation. Because Christ equates believing on Him with coming to Him. Jn 6:64-65

64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him.

65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

What about those Jesus says to them Jn 5:40

40 And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life.

Thats answered in Jn 6:44 they simply will not come because they cannot come unless the Power of God draws them and makes them willing

Ps 110:3

3 Thy people shall be willing in the day of thy power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: thou hast the dew of thy youth.

If and when one comes to believe on Christ willingly, the credit goes to Gods Power !

GODS WORD is how GOD works today.

HOW are we drawn by GOD? By what means does His power work 'inward' in us, how are we lead/impelled to come/drawn and to 'abide'? We learn in Romans

9:31 Israel, however, pursuing a law of righteousness, to [that] law not did attain

32 Because of why? Because [it was] not by FAITH, but as by works.
They stumbled over the stone of stumbling

33 as it has been written: Behold I lay in Zion a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offense; and the [one] BELIEVING on Him never will be put to shame

10:1 Brothers the indeed desire of my heart and the supplication to God on behalf of them [is] for salvation

2 I bear witness for about them, that zeal for God they have, but not according to KNOWLEDGE

3 Being ignorant of for the of God righteousness, and the own righteousness seeking to establish, to the righteousness of God NOT they submitted (hupotassó: To subject, to subordinate, to submit, to be under obedience)

4 [The] end for of law [is] Christ, unto righteousness to everyone BELIEVING.

5 Moses for writes [of] the righteousness that [is] of the law, that The having done these things man, will live by them

6 The however of faith righteousness, thus speaks: NOT you should say in the heart of you, Who will ascend into heaven? That is Christ to bring down
(Salvation does not come through OUR works but by CHRISTS WORK)

7 or, Who will descend into the abyss? That is, Christ out from [the] dead to bring up.

8 But what says it? Near you the word is, in the mouth of you and in the heart of you. THAT IS the word of faith which we proclaim

9 that if you confess the saying with the mouth of you, [The] Lord [is] Jesus, and BELIEVE in the heart of you, that God Him raised out from [the] dead, you will be saved.

10 In the heart for is BELIEF unto righteousness; in the mouth now is CONFESSION unto salvation.
(homologeó: To confess, to acknowledge, to agree}

11 Says for the Scripture, Everyone BELIEVING on Him not will be put to shame

12 Not for there is difference Jew between and Greek; for the SAME Lord of all is rich toward all those CALLING Him

13 Whoever for that shall call upon the name of [the] Lord will be saved (deliver out of danger and into safety; used principally of God rescuing believers from the penalty and power of sin – and into His provisions (safety))

14 How then shall they call on [Him] whom not they believed? How now shall they BELIEVE on [Him] of whom not they have heard? How now shall they hear apart from preaching? (to herald (proclaim); to preach (announce) a message publicly and with conviction (persuasion))

15 How now shall they preach if NOT THEY ARE SENT? As it has been written: "How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming peace, of those proclaiming good news of good things!" (Not all the prophets WANTED to be prophets at first but HAD NO CHOICE, they weren't called, they were PREDESTINED to spread HIS words, GOD knew them BEFORE they even came out of the womb (water) ...born of flesh and BLOOD... as opposed to those who left their first habitation)

16 But NOT all heeded the good news. Isaiah for says, Lord, who has BELIEVED the report of us?

17 SO faith [is] FROM hearing, and hearing THROUGH [the] word of Christ

18 But I ask, no not did they hear? Indeed: into all the earth has gone out the voice of them; and to the ends of the world, the words of them

19 But I ask, not Israel not did know? First, Moses says: I will provoke to jealousy you by [those] not a nation; by a nation without understanding, I will anger you

20 Isaiah then is very bold and says; I was found by those Me not seeking; manifest I became to those Me not inquiring after

21 As for however, Israel, he says: All the day, I have stretched out the hands of Me, to a people disobeying and contradicting

11:1 I ask then, not did reject God the people of Him? NEVER may it be! Also, for I an Israelite am, of [the] seed of Abraham, of [the] tribe of Benjamin

2 Not did reject God the people of Him, whom HE FOREKNEW. Or not know you in Elijah what says the Scripture how he pleads with God against Israel

3 Lord, the prophets OF YOU, they have killed; the altars of You they have torn down; and I have been left alone, and they are seeking the life of me

Some are predestined, some are called, some will abide, others will not... then some will fall sleep and be raised up to follow Him and be where He is (SAVED from the penalty of sin/death and the GWTJ) while others will die and be buried and will NOT to be raised up until He returns for HIS DAY, The Lords Day, the 1000 years in which those who didn't get their names in the book of life FROM THE BEGINNING will have 1000 years to WORK to get their names in it before the GWTJ when they will finally be judged and either come to life/immortality or death/lake of fire.

Isaiah 28

9 Whom shall he teach knowledge? and whom shall he make to understand doctrine? them that are weaned from the milk, and drawn from the breasts.

10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little:

11 For with stammering lips and another tongue will he speak to this people.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest wherewith ye may cause the weary to rest; and this is the refreshing: yet they would not hear.

And what happens if we don't do it GODS WAY? If we approach the words of God all harry scarry whichever way WE FEEL like it rather than in the ORDERLY way in which GOD DOES EVERYTHING...we create our own 'religion' not much different than those who came before us and MOCKED believing they knew better with

13 But the word of the LORD was unto them precept upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little; that they might go, and fall backward, and be broken, and snared, and taken.

In conclusion, I believe the Bible tells us we can choose to be either of God or of this world and WE choose our path. Hear the words of GOD, obey them, repent and be baptized then ABIDE in our NEW creation as a new creature ALWAYS striving to walk holy, calling on the Lord and Savior, constantly growing, maturing and looking to serve GOD as a willing servant of His or fallback into the ways of this world and find oneself to be snared and taken...FREE WILL, life or death...

The issue about John 6:44,65 is that Jesus is addressing Jews that have been cursed with Blindness and Deafness under the Isaiah prophecy that Jesus speaks to His Disciples about and Paul writes about in Romans.

But in Romans, Galatians, and other Letters Paul alludes that ALL GENTILES have access to be Grafted Into the Vine should they choose to believe.

So in reality John 6:44,65 is only referring to the Jews. And we know which Jews were drawn to Jesus because the New Testament lists them.
Huh, what?

But those Verses in John 17 are not in context to the discussion with the Jews in chapter 6. You are just cherry picking and that is ungodly.

And you do not understand the gospel. The verses in John 17 pertain to all of the elect and all of the non-elect - the world - without regard to human lineage. John 6 and John 17 are stating the same doctrine.
Just because you say otherwise, doesn't make it correct because you aren't correct.

[Jhn 17:9, 20 KJV]
9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine. ...
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;

While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled. And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves. I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil. They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world. Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

So, you agree with me? Sounds like it.

60 Many therefore of his disciples, when they had heard this, said, This is an hard saying; who can hear it? 61 When Jesus knew in himself that his disciples murmured at it, he said unto them, Doth this offend you? 62 What and if ye shall see the Son of man ascend up where he was before? 63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life. 64 But there are some of you that believe not. For Jesus knew from the beginning who they were that believed not, and who should betray him. 65 And he said, Therefore said I unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it were given unto him of my Father.

66 From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him. 67 Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will ye also go away? 68 Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life. 69 And we believe and are sure that thou art that Christ, the Son of the living God. 70 Jesus answered them, Have not I chosen you twelve, and one of you is a devil? 71 He spake of Judas Iscariot the son of Simon: for he it was that should betray him, being one of the twelve.

Who's will? many of his disciples went back, Gods will?

Being one of the 12...then not... Was this 'choice' GODS WILL or his own thoughts and will that caused the events that followed?

What if Abraham was a Gentile?

Abraham was a gentile which is how he can be the father of many nations. It is also how we gentiles in the Church can be the spiritual seed of Abraham without becoming Israel.

Genesis 17:5
No longer will you be called Abram; your name will be Abraham, for I have made you a father of many nations.

Jacob is the father of Israel for his name was changed to Israel and his sons became the nation of Israel.

Genesis 32:28
Then the man said, “Your name will no longer be Jacob, but Israel, because you have struggled with God and with humans and have overcome.”
