meanwhile in Sydney Australia, record high temperatures through January. which is Summer down under.



'global warming' doesn't mean there is no more winter. it means the average temperature of the whole earth is greater than what was previously observed, and, accordingly, there are bigger swings in temperature and more energetic storms. people who devote their careers to studying climate aren't idiots, and they actually do know more about this than average-Joe who notices that it still get colds in the winter and decides for himself he's found something they've overlooked.

who goes looking for the lost sheep? the shepherd.

what does the Good Shepherd say when he finds the sheep?

" rejoice with me, I have found MY lost sheep".

did the sheep cease to belong to the Shephard while it was lost?

Jesus is instructing His disciples what to do if any brother goes astray.


Jesus is preparing His disciples to do the work of the ministry when He returns to heaven.


They are given the responsibility of preaching the Gospel and making disciples.


One of the responsibilities included going after wayward brothers who wander away.




“What do you think? If a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, does he not leave the ninety-nine and go to the mountains to seek the one that is straying? And if he should find it, assuredly, I say to you, he rejoices more over that sheep than over the ninety-nine that did not go astray. Even so it is not the will of your Father who is in heaven that one of these little ones should perish. “Moreover if your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he hears you, you have gained your brother. But if he will not hear, take with you one or two more, that by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established.’ And if he refuses to hear them, tell it to the church. But if he refuses even to hear the church, let him be to you like a heathen and a tax collector.

so if a man was born again yrs ago, backslides and loses his desire to obey God, he too is not saved?

i believe the bible from where it starts in the front and says "In the beginning God" to all the way to the end where is says "Genuine Leather"

i agree with 1john 2:19.............those that dont remain and continue in the faith...........not saved

Regardless, I don’t tack on “no matter what” to OSAS, as if it means continuously live like the devil, but saved anyway. John makes a clear contrast between children of God and children of the devil (1 John 3:7-10).

So by the definition you can "live like the devil" and still be saved.
Why, one poster (not here) said he could blaspheme the Holy Spirit and STILL be saved !

That passage says they were never of us, if they were of us they never would have left. They left to show that they were never of us (saved)

It does not say they ever had faith.
