Call me blonde but what is considered a Conservative Christian? If it's what I'm thinking it is, Nattmaran isn't it.
Whether it came directly from his office, his campaign office, or wherever it is Obama's official stance. I don't know if it's been in the news in Scotland, but he has made official statements that he now is supporting gay marriage which does not surprise me at all. For years he has instructed the Justice Department to NOT enforce the Defense of Marriage Act which was passed by congress years ago.
I was once walking in the darkness called homosexuality....and it.....compared to the glorious salvation that ONLY comes through belief in Jesus Christ is definitely worthy to be called YUCK! Sin is sin is sin....and it's all YUCK. Even those who try to find "many" ways to God and depend on the great, moral things they do in life to make people feel good....that's also YUCK....in fact god says....our righteousness is as filthy rags.....literally meaning, used up, dirty menstrual cloths....that's VERY YUCK. Sin in general is YUCK, makes you feel like YUCK and there's only ONE way to get UN=YUCKED. Thanks to be God for our Lord Jesus Christ.

You follow the word of God or you don't follow it at all.
The truth has always been a stumbling stone and a rock of offense to those in the world including Christians with worldly minds. Here's the point as many people have stated here before. God says homosexuality is an abomination, thus it is. It goes against God's order and thus we must be vigilant to stand for the truth. And as Iraasuup has stated, "If you don't like it, take it up with God."
It's not up to us to change the word of God to suit what we like because it's not comfortable. We change for God, not the other way around.
We need to show homosexuals love yes. However we cannot condone their actions or lifestyle. Jesus never said that following Him would be easy. If we get flak from the world for standing for the truth.... Good

For those who seem to believe that the Bible has no problem with homosexuality: "13 If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them." Leviticus 20:13
I think the Word of God is very clear on this issue. However, does that mean God will not save you. No. You have to chose to repent of your sins and give your life to God. Ask Him to become your Savior. We don't make the rules up, God does. If you disagree with God, talk with Him. Ask Him why. He loves to answer questions like these, especially for those who are seeking answers to things they don't understand.

As i stated on the first page, Obama held a new conference making this announcement. Local news interrupted Dr Phil Show to let us know this tidbit.
That is terrific! Thanks for posting it. I was wondering though, when you were walking in darkness, and you saw someone calling your lifestyle 'yuck', would that have driven you away? I'm not trying to stir things up, I am just curious. God bless!

I would have been very defensive brother, in fact I hated Christians and God to the point where I wanted to see every believer on a cross, dying in agony...sadly...it was because of the intensity of the pain I had inside my soul...the emptiness that was consuming my life day by day, and in Romans it tells you why:

And so I began to hate those who had Christ in them...God's Spirit dwelling in them...and anything they had to say about my lifestyle, was only more reason to hate. My entire being had been swollen with bitterness and anger. I was completely godless. And like Robo says....who would want a child in THAT kind of atmosphere? It's not about two people not being able to provide for a child....lots of moral people can do that.....but it is IMPOSSIBLE for them to raise that child in a Godly manner..when by their very nature, they are haters of the ONE TRUE GOD, and His Son...my Lord, Christ Jesus.
Sry for the lengthy answer bro...lol....but I'm very certain God did not rescue me from this hell for nothing...and I get kinda passionate about truth when it comes to people being lead astray on the topic.

Not before God do you have any right to take children into a corrupt union and therefore corrupt them in their most formative years to accept that which God has condemned as an abomination. Only by laws having nothing to do with God do you have such a right. And no, it is NOT better to have corrupt parents rather than no parents at all, for our ultimate parent is our Father in Heaven, and such earthly parents might well separate a child from his/her ultimate Father's will and quite possibly His eternal presence by teaching that child to accept what is wrong as right. That child's time on earth is temporary, and nothing within this temporary state is worth putting a child's eternal state in jeopardy.
