The word lust actually means longing. All sin is caused either by the longings of our eyes, the longings of our flesh, or the vainglory of life (essentially, longing for the praise and honor of men).

ie, when we take our eyes of God. we plant them perfectly on self.

I said people use one verse to make a doctrine of sin confession, they never use any other except the one that says to confess our sins to one another (which is to man, and not God, for the healing of our relationships). So are you of the mind that old covenant shadows (not that confession is a shadow) don't foreshadow greater realities in the new covenant?

Because we have been crucified with Christ. In GOD's eyes our bodies are dead and on the altar to be consumed by his holiness. Thus is the grace of GOD that we are not consumed.

Who gave you the warrant to say such a thing? You, or someone else you're mimicking, have simply made this up because it serves some agenda. You don't know. You have no clue. It's pure speculation.

If only your opinion was scriptural, but it's not. We only have fellowship with the father when we are walking in the light of truth. If we are lying about not having sin, we are not doing the truth. If we acknowledge our sins, we are cleansed and fellowship is restored.

If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth: But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:6-9​

What happens when you become defiled by sin? How does your conscience become cleansed? Are you like so many other christians who deal with this by negating the offensiveness of sin to GOD (Oh don't worry about that! It's covered.)?

Keep in mind that the priests who attended the altar under the old covenant had to continually wash themselves with water in order to cleanse themselves from the defilement of the sacrifices they handled, else they would have died. The application for us is that we must keep a clean conscience through walking in the light of the truth that we are sinful beings walking in grace, so that our spirits don't grow cold and die.

Well the broken fellowship is real because a relationship takes two parties, but you are right that it is our stance that keeps us from enjoying that relationship (fellowship). GOD does not, cannot, usurp our will to persist in broken fellowship. But he knows it's broken because we have withdrawn in shame from him (like Adam and Eve did) because of a defiled conscience.

For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things. Beloved, if our heart doesn't condemn us, then we have confidence toward God. 1 John 3:20-21​

They acknowledged what they did was wrong; whether they took responsibility for it or not is immaterial. As with all sin, GOD took the responsibility for it. He just wants us to admit that we're wrong and he's right.

so now it is not we have to repent (using your interpretation of repent) , just acknowledge.

so when did they acknowledge the sin of the blame game (not taking accountability for our own actions?)

 
Tell me He RoseFromTheDead where in the Book of Genesis did Adam and Eve confess their sin to God?

God came LOOKING for them first! They did not seek out God to confess their sin.

They WERE restored by God.

Why RoseFromTheDead are you trying to insert into the Scriptures YOUR opinion of what happened?

I do not see any confession from Adam and Eve. So why are you adding to the Scriptures that they confessed?
