I've really gotten into song writing lately. :) I'm not brave enough to put anything on YouTube yet but, eventually :D

Also, I've started a cool project....

Is that Balboa Park Liamson? It looks like it!

My latest obsession is daydreaming of an upcoming adventure in my life. It's not really an adventure, but that's how I decide to see it. And also, finding a new home for a stray doug that I found days ago.

I don't think I obsess...I don't think I obsess....I don't think I obsess.....I don't think I obsess......I don't think I obsess...
I don't think I obsess..

I don't think I obsess....

That's pretty much it.

I'm not sure if its an obsession BUT...

Genmaicha Green Tea
If you are wondering- its green tea with toasted rice in it - sometimes if toasted enough, the rice 'pops' and looks like popcorn. They offer it as their green tea at sushi restaurants.

Days of Our Lives - its my guilty pleasure

Buying jewelry- earrings and rings- nothing too pricey, but classy as heck

You continue to slander my original post while displaying that you are too proud to apologize for doing so while I am humble enough to forgive you for it.

This behavior of yours fits neatly into the hypocritical prideful behavior Jesus was condemning amongst believers (brother or sister) in that passage I quoted to you from Matthew (also found in Luke).

Just to be clear: you set yourself up to judge my statement and in the process projected a conjectured false interpretation of what I said at me as if it were true and then continued to insist that it was even after I explained to you that it is, in fact, false.

And, while you were maligning my meaning, you were asking God to bless me. How about you just bless me by not maligning.

In the future, it would be better if you just ask me what I mean rather than manufacture a false interpretation using your best thinking and then act foolishly with presumption, arrogance, and hypocrisy when I correct you.

Given this diagloue, you may want to visit an optometrist in the near future. There may be a whole lumber yard in there you're not even aware of.

Chow.

To be honest, I don't feel I've done anything wrong. We're allowed to post our points of view, and you're allowed to post yours as well of course. And, we're allowed to disagree.

I don't agree with thinking, "Oh, I've slayed the heathens today with my vast amount of Biblical knowledge." But that's just me, and maybe only me. No problem.

And, just want to make sure everyone knew, I'm a "hypocritical SISTER", not brother. :)

I'm not disagreeing with your character, I was disagreeing with the approach. God bless.

The analytical approach is only one of many approaches. Think of it as one tool amongst many tools in a toolbox. Whether or not I select an analytical approach for a specific engagement with a scoffer who enjoys ridiculing Christianity has a lot to do with the discernment I receive praying about it in advance.

You are now stating that the analytical approach is always wrong. But that's not true. For example, Paul used a deep lengthy analytical approach in scripture at times with educated pagans that thought themselves wise and ridiculed Christianity. His engagement with those on Mars Hill would be one instance.

So now that you've changed your tact to disagreeing with this one Biblical approach instead of maligning my good intentions and the meaning of my original statement, I have the opportunity to help you by correcting you yet again.

Are you beginning to feel the molasses yet? ;) Lolol...

I'm more into honey than molasses.

Honey is thinner though... easier to drive through lolol.

Arwen83, I'm truly sorry for derailing your thread, I certainly didn't mean to, so I'll just make one last post on this.

Age, if you think I've wronged you, certainly pray about it, ok? Tell God everything. Whatever you think of me, or whatever punishment or judgment or correction you feel I need from the Lord, go ahead and pray that. David prayed for the Lord to correct those he confronted as well, and I tell this to anyone I have a disagreement that unfortunately seems to linger.

We all know God isn't shy. He certainly won't hesitate to deal with me about it if He feels the need, which will make me better in the end if He feels that's what I need. And if by chance, He feels I need something else besides correction in my life, I'm sure I'll come to appreciate your prayers either way.

Either way, God bless and take care.

I always forgive. I just wanted to hold you accountable for what you were doing so that you would learn something.

On a serious note I've had people tell me that my meaning (especially during the discussions where I defended God's Word intertwining it into my arguments much like the New Testament apostles did with the Old Testament and Christ's Words when evangelizing, teaching, or engaging in apologetics) came back repeatedly to them and they thought about it later long after the argument was over and they had cooled off.

What they didn't realize is that it was God who was bringing it back to their attention during these times.

It's not an approach you use with everyone though. Many people just respond to very simple approaches like the one Kirk Cameron uses, for example, which I offer at my website. Others are just love-starved people that need to see and feel loved.

But there is a time to dig in like a healthy tick on a sick dog with a real hardcore atheist that looks at Christians like they are the biggest fools on the face of the earth (and treats them as such) and steadfastly correct their misunderstanding and error.

I've had encounters with these sort that lasted for one to several hours each day for months. Literally. No quarter was expected and none ever offered. At the end, most had not converted to Christianity but they certainly had a new point of view.

And God kept bringing it to their attention long afterwards. That's a good thing.

I'm obsessed with perfection, which is why I carry a mirror with me at all times!!!

Perhaps my latest obsession should be people who are obsessed with themselves. Oh,the many, many choices.

*Hugs Descyple and knocks away his mirror.*
