Well you know I only had to put in that description because SO many people were saying things EVERY SINGLE DAY such as:
"Seoul, you COULDN'T POSSIBLY be a trouble maker!!!"
"I don't believe it -- you're just misunderstood!! Why, you're practically an angel!!!"
"Tell me it isn't true!! I'm SURE you've never started an ounce of mischief IN YOUR ENTIRE LIFE!!"
And so...
Alas.
It was weighing heavily on my conscience... So I finally had to come out of the internet closet and declare what I TRULY IDENTIFY AS (after all, this seems to be the popular thing these days!)
And so... my TRUE self had to come out.
Actually...
I'm thinking of how much my own mother would HEAVILY DISPUTE anyone who tried to say I never cause trouble.

To me, this is my greatest joy and motivation in being part of these threads.
We all put our trust in God, but life is HARD -- no matter which way we stir it.
I was gone for a while, during which I had a chance to be around people who are in VERY challenging caretaking situations (hence the inspiration for the current thread in Family regarding the elderly.)
I know I joke a lot, but I have struggled with depression all my life and I know very well what it feels like to not want to get out of bed in the morning (kettle or no kettle.)
When I went to go help my friends, I actually asked God, "Please make me funny enough!" to relieve some of their stress with not only practical help, but genuine laughter (but also the discernment of when to use it.)
Now I'm certainly no Robin Williams, but some of the best feedback here is when we hear that people are having a good time, and maybe, just maybe, getting that little extra oomph they need to get through yet another harrowing day.
If we can get just a little of that here and now on the forum...
It makes putting up with all the trolls over the years more than worth it.
Thank you to everyone for your God-given, awesome senses of humor!!!
You're helping US laugh through the hard times right along with you, and may God richly bless you for that!

well the prayers to God worked, because you are unique and a huge blessing. I've recently understood that leaning in Gods understanding isn't always just waiting in anxiety, depression etc... (yes, we have our quiet times with Him) but it could also apply as in leaning proactively... and the best way for me to do this is to bless others.. encourage others even with my bad jokes, or making light of things in such a heavy world... sometimes makes all the difference... so even when our own life and heart seem to be in disarray or turmoil... as Jesus is always here... sometimes waiting for us to get out of our own way... i take extreme joy in making others smile or laugh as well... I've faced challenging times recently and to come in here on a whim, and have had such a great morning in so much laughter and banter has been something i have needed! so thankyou again, (you all)
