So do you believe covenants with the Lord are not essential? Did God stop making covenants with people?
That is a completely different topic. But you will not find a single Scripture which says "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ AND also be baptized, and then you will be saved and then be born again". The two passages which appear to connect water baptism to salvation must be properly interpreted in the light of all that is said about how one is saved and then born again.

Right.

Col2:12 - "12 And having-been-buried-with [G4916 (one word in Grk)] Him in THE baptism, you were raised with Him through the faith in the power [/of the operation] of God, who raised Him from the dead."

also...

Romans 6:3 - "3 3Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ [note: baptized into Jesus Christ, not baptized in "water"] were baptized into his death?"
Again acts 19:1-6. Baptized unto Christ in water symbolizing burial and rebirth and then purified by the holy ghost by the laying on of hands. As was the custom and practice of ancient Saints

Well in the end I guess we can ask Christ the proper interpretation. But wouldn't it be bad to teach baptism isn't necessary and then find out that it was. If I'm in error than baptism doesn't hurt, but if you are than you would be lacking in an important aspect. I'd choose to error on the side of caution.

It symbolizes what God actually does to us.

It does not actually do the things.

Law to do perfectly? can anyone e else do this perfect Law, before, during his walk here on earth or even after his (Jesus') resurrection
Law and grace, getting forgiven over and over again, by repenting over and over every time one sins again? Will Son ever die all over again or is it done?
Or is it done by Son once for all. to decide to believe God or not? And begin to see new, not from this world's view any longer?

Matthew 6:12
and forgive us our sins, just as we have forgiven those who have sinned against us.
Luke 24:47
and that this message of salvation should be taken from Jerusalem to all the nations: There is forgiveness of sins for all who turn to me.
John 1:14
And Christ became a human being and lived here on earth among us and was full of loving forgiveness and truth. And some of us have seen his glory—the glory of the only Son of the heavenly Father!
John 1:17
For Moses gave us only the Law with its rigid demands and merciless justice, while Jesus Christ brought us loving forgiveness as well.
John 20:23
If you forgive anyone’s sins, they are forgiven. If you refuse to forgive them, they are unforgiven.”
Acts 10:43
And all the prophets have written about him, saying that everyone who believes in him will have their sins forgiventhrough his name.”
Acts 13:38
“Brothers! Listen! In this man Jesus there is forgiveness for your sins!
Acts 26:18
to open their eyes to their true condition so that they may repent and live in the light of God instead of in Satan’s darkness, so that they may receive forgiveness for their sins and God’s inheritance along with all people everywhere whose sins are cleansed away, who are set apart by faith in me.’

  1. Romans 4:7
“Blessed and to be envied,” he said, “are those whose sins are forgiven and put out of sight.

  2. Romans 5:15
And what a difference between man’s sin and God’s forgiveness! For this one man, Adam, brought death to many through his sin. But this one man, Jesus Christ, brought forgiveness to many through God’s mercy.

  3. Romans 5:17
The sin of this one man, Adam, caused death to be king over all, but all who will take God’s gift of forgiveness and acquittal are kings of life because of this one man, Jesus Christ.

  4. Romans 6:1
Well then, shall we keep on sinning so that God can keep on showing us more and more kindness and forgiveness?

  5. Romans 8:33
Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? Will God? No! He is the one who has forgiven us and given us right standing with himself.
  6. 2 Corinthians 2:11
A further reason for forgiveness is to keep from being outsmarted by Satan, for we know what he is trying to do.
  7. Ephesians 4:32
Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God has forgiven you because you belong to Christ.
  8. Hebrews 9:22
In fact we can say that under the old agreement almost everything was cleansed by sprinkling it with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness of sins.
  9. Hebrews 10:10
Under this new plan we have been forgiven and made clean by Christ’s dying for us once and for all.
  10. Hebrews 10:18
Now, when sins have once been forever forgiven and forgotten, there is no need to offer more sacrifices to get rid of them.
  11. Hebrews 10:26
If anyone sins deliberately by rejecting the Savior after knowing the truth of forgiveness, this sin is not covered by Christ’s death; there is no way to get rid of it.
  12. 1 John 2:2
He is the one who took God’s wrath against our sins upon himself and brought us into fellowship with God; and he is the forgiveness for our sins, and not only ours but all the world’s.
  13. 1 John 2:12
I am writing these things to all of you, my little children, because your sins have been forgiven in the name of Jesus our Savior.

We are forgiven to get given the new life of Jesus for us to be new from God's view, not anyone else's view. Yet I see to be careful to do good works, yet the good works is not of our first born person is it? Since no flesh but Son's could ever please God, Romans 8:3

The morrow of this post.
Ask God Father of the risen Christ for the new life to get given you too. Then stand in belief to God, for this to take place over time and time again of failing over and over and over and over again and again. Seek out this awesome truth of reconciliation of Son given us to walk new in love to all, not a few as I know I used to do, and only God can reveal this to those that will not deny God
The way the Scriptures, especially Paul, put it, when we believe and are born again, God, our divine Judge justifies us, that is, gives us his verdict of "not guilty" because of Jesus' death alone (Romans 3 and 4). However, we still need to pray for God's cleansing for the sins that remain in us and for the power of Jesus' resurrection to make spiritual progress in becoming more and more like Jesus, according to the truths of his Word.

If that is true what then is Christ saying when he says in John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

And as a cross reference Acts 19:1-6
Read John 3:6, in conjunction of John 3:5 born of water, 6 born of flesh
Are we not first born in 93% water,` my water broke and then comes the child, it is known as amniotic fluid, bottom line water
Read the entire context. I think Jesus clarified what water is in verse 6, to Nicodemus and me at least, thanks

On the first day anyone believes God in Son as reconciled, the new begins in them, those that will not quit belief, Son is risen for them to be new from God Father of risen Son Jesus who cleansed the deck at that cross form us to cross over with him in being risen for us to be the same tight now, here and now in 199% trust to Father over this truth given us that no flesh can fathom, ????Therefore reckon self dead to sin. Romans 6:1-12 it is all done by God not us at all, even though many feel as if are that, I am not, I am a wreck in need of God's lead daily

Colossians 1:21-23

Authorized (King James) Version

21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled 22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight: 23 if ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the gospel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;
  1. 2 Corinthians 3:6
He is the one who has helped us tell others about his new agreement to save them. We do not tell them that they must obey every law of God or die; but we tell them there is life for them from the Holy Spirit. The old way, trying to be saved by keeping the Ten Commandments, ends in death; in the new way, the Holy Spirit gives them life.

  2. 2 Corinthians 3:17
The Lord is the Spirit who gives them life, and where he is there is freedom from trying to be saved by keeping the laws of God.
Philippians 1:6
And I am sure that God who began the good work within you will keep right on helping you grow in his grace until his task within you is finally finished on that day when Jesus Christ returns.
Ephesians 1:14
His presence within us is God’s guarantee that he really will give us all that he promised; and the Spirit’s seal upon us means that God has already purchased us and that he guarantees to bring us to himself. This is just one more reason for us to praise our glorious God.

How are we made acceptable?

For it is by Grace we have been saved (made acceptable) Through faith.

the work of God on the cross
God did it, I accept it as it has taken a long time to do that for me to see and stand in it, not that I do it perfect, God does has and continues to, I do not, I quit trying to do what I see I can't do and turn to God in trust for God to do what is needed through me by risen Son Jesus thank you.
I simply see what Paul has said, I put the past behind me. How fast is anything done whether good or bad past? Therefore does it remain forgiven by God or not? No forgiveness without the shedding of blood, that got set up first in the first testament.
Before I can even blink an eye, it is past so fast, I never had a chance to repent of it, Yet religion teaches we must do that, (Is that so others can praise you and make you proud?) When Paul has revealed Nothing can separate us from the love of God, Nothing!
Yet people are saying you better stop that, therefore are beating others with hammers, and we (I) at least got caught up under Law, and not the new life given me to automatically be, being too busy for God to forgive me. I needed up in worse sin over the command not to sin and made aware of it, Romans 7:10. The law itself is perfect and good, yet I am not being in an unredeemed flesh body, I need God's forgiveness and God gives this free to those that are serious and not after anything else but Love of God, over the love of this world we are in and not a part of any longer, at least me, seeing what born again by God is and many times and forgotten it and got caught up in praises and rewards from others
