We hold the sermon on the mount applies to all christians and through the cross we have power to obey.
There are two distortion hyper grace add to the sermon on the mount.
We must be perfect in everything, we must never get angry.
We are called to love our enemies as God does, because He is perfect, so we also should do this.
Hyper-grace believe it is impossible to walk blamelessly, and interpret the law as just stating so.
Now we agree this is what the law does to those who are trying to justify themselves by the law.
But those who walk in love overcome the limitations of the flesh, and walk in obedience to Jesus's commands.
But this is where they say we are lying, because they believe and find it is impossible for them to do. But rather than work through their problems they change their theology. Not a good combination.
Hyper-grace is a term that Dr. Brown came up with because he doesn't agree with some aspects of the grace of Christ. Like our sins are forgiven...and there is a lot of assumptions and "twists" in what is being said too...here is a common one..grace believers don't believe in confessing sins..it's a lie based on "twisting" the words some speak....we are forgiven children of God...and we love to come to our Father and tell him our sins and about everything in our lives.
Works-based salvationists are very antagonistic towards the grace of Christ as it exposes their self-righteousness and their own efforts to "keep" salvation that is "freely given as a gift" by the grace of Christ through faith only.

All you have done is attack me then want me banned because I don't subscribe to your new gospel. Newsflash!!!!!! Most Christians do not follow this different gospel. Just sayinOh?
I call people stupid.
I call people insane
I say they need mental help?
I never answer their questions, and just continually attack them?
please. show proof that I am just as bad.
Can you back your claims? I think people have backed my claims against this person already.

I love ya bro.Everyone there is no point in attacking each other, we all are lacking in some way or form I am just as guilty as nikki or anyone else of doing these things sometimes but my heart wasn't changed with a heated debate my heart was changed because of the kindness and the love and patience that was shown to me.
Our job isn't to prove our doctrines and views and beliefs correct besides no one has every view and doctrine and belief correct, how is the heart of God who he is going to shine if we only bicker and debate? Jesus said we are the salt and light of the world now ask yourselves are you shining his light?
Oh okay, that's new to me. So I guess it comes down to whether free will is superior to the constraint of the Holy Spirit?
The devil made 'em do it.
'smatter? Can't take a joke?

No, I cannot condone "joking" when people are already so offended that they are ready to leave the discussion.
I've read through the thread again today, and I see not much love.
We've all got some room for improvement.
True he has called everyone horrible thins he treated others harshly as did all of us to each other Jesus was treated worse was called even worse things but how did he respond? True he rebuked the pharisee's a couple times but for the most part he responded in kindenss patience was calm exactly as still waters.I love ya bro.
It is one thing to get into a heated debate, we may even slip and call someone something out of anger,,
It is another to call people every name in the book in almost every post you make. to refuse to answer peoples questions, but keep attacking with non provoked nger and name calling or strawmen arguments.

Jesus didn't ignore those who attacked him I believe his words were Father forgive them. What he is worthy of is not our decision that is God'sThat's his M/O. You won't peace with him until you put him on ignore. He is worthy of such.

Hypergrace - Grace same difference.
Hyper-grace does not teach licentiousness.. No one has proven yet in weeks and weeks of debate that they do..
I keep hearing people claim it does. Then I read their proof, and talk to people who they say teach it, And they teach nothing new under the sun.
The true grace of God exposes the self-righteousness of people. That is the real reason why they are opposed to the grace of Christ.
Sometimes you hear certain ones say " We must obey God.."...a very true saying...what they mean and what the grace of Christ means in the New Covenant are entirely different things.
They will say " You have to keep "yourself" holy "....to be holy in our outward behavior is what the Lord wants but the "works-based" people say that "they" are doing it.
Grace believers say that the Life of Christ in them is doing the transforming by the Holy Spirit.,,,one is relying on "themselves" ....the other is relying on the life of Christ in them.
The self-righteous saying that " They keep themselves holy"...They can be filled with malice and slander towards some one in the body of Christ and in reality the are the same as people practicing homosexuality. We see this in certain ones here on CC
They are both works of the flesh. But to the legalists - they are "holier" and "abiding in Christ"..while the practicing homosexual is cursed....these are the true hypocrites....denying the Lord and Master to do their own works of righteousness while condemning every one else.......it's the nature of the beast...
And you are blind. Your Grace only crowd says anything for God is works based Salvation and I don't understand why. I guess this is a site for the blind leading the blind to eternal damnation. If I'm wrong for standing up against this, then you are all so far gone, i hope my prayers will help
