IN THE BEGINNING GOD MADE THE HEAVENS AND THE EARTH.
In the original text it reads Elohim made the heavens and the earth.
Elohim is plural and not singular so it goes like this.

The first verse of the bible has very profound answers in it if you study it.
1. It gives the out line of the trinity.
2. Beginning suggest time.... heavens suggest space...earth suggest matter.
Nothing can exist without these 3 things....time ..space ..and matter.
3. Since God made man in his image then God is our closest relative. Mankinds Goel......Redeemer.

Well said. The purpose of this thread is for us to discover exactly what you laid out here. Our Lord said every word of God is spiritual life giving bread for us and it all starts in Genesis.

You are naive to think that you can change the mind of a JW or an atheist. Debating them will never accomplish that. Only the will of God through His Holy Spirit.
Agree - the Holy Spirit is the Key that unlocks our imprisoned mind to be set FREE - through love.

We know the WORD, later on Christ, in the Gospel of John 8:58 admitted He was [I AM].
But let's examine the [TANAKH] Exodus Chapter 3 better to understand who [I AM] is:
6 And He said, "I am the Elohim of your father, the Elohim of Abraham, the Elohim of Isaac, and the Elohim of Jacob." And Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look toward Elohim.

Here, the WORD, the eventual Christ, [I AM] is claiming to Moses that He is ELOHIM!
Now, let's jump to Chapter 6:
2 Elohim spoke to Moses, and He said to him, "I am the Lord.

We see the Word, future Christ, [I AM], ELOHIM, is also the Lord!
3 I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob with [the name] Almighty Elohim, but [with] My name YHWH, I did not become known to them.

Here, the Future Christ is telling Moses He is also YHWH!
So just in Christ alone, We have the WORD, ELOHIM, YHWH [which is Yahweh], I AM, Lord and more...
Just in FOUR VERSE References we see Christ is MULTIPLE PEOPLE we call GOD!
I love the WORD of GOD because it CANNOT LIE!

In 2 Corinthians 1:3, I clearly see the blessed Trinity—The Father, the Son Jesus and the Comforter the Holy Spirit of God. 
II Corinthians 1:3 "Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;"

Keep going you left out the best part (although IAM is hard to beat) get back in Exodus 3 and find out what the ETERNAL Name of Elohim is - you already know - but post it here anyway from Exodus 3
