Just for fun, if you could marry a favorite fictional character, who would it be?

Mine: Jack Bauer from 24 or Scott Harvath from Brad Thor's books

Grrr, 5 minute edit timer...

I think instead of just being "good enough for now" I'm going to have to make Arwen my final answer.

What greater love could there be than to give up your (immortal) life for your husband?

I'll stick with the Arwen portrayed in the movies, because she seemed more like a kick-butt kind of girl than the books really portray her as. And yet she seems very... caring and gentle. The kind of woman who is primarily a gentle caring person, but capable of great strength when no other option is available.

Not to mention the ears ;)

Hmm... So many choices... But right now I'm thinking of the scenes in The Princess Bride when Wesley would be splitting wood, fetching something, or looking at Buttercup with "that look" and brushing his hair out of his eyes... *sighs* *melts*

And of course, we've already talked about how many of us would like to date a pirate, so... Adorable innocent farm boy who moonlights as bad boy pirate???!! How much more perfect can you get!! :) It's like a chocolate-covered vanilla cookie... both sides all wrapped up in the same yummy treat!! :D
 
I tell you what, if she would repent and trust in Jesus, I would really like to settle down to a monogomous married life with the blonde haired woman from 'the Ring' (one of my pre Christian favourites), she may well need some deliverance, but Id be with her every step of the way.

Aint no phone calls gonna scare us anymore. As for girls coming out of the TV, that's getting rebuked

So I've thought about this, and as a goodwill gesture between CC members I will give up Queen Amidala, I will now marry Seven of Nine. ;)

The character, Michael Hosea (based on Hosea of the Bible) in the book "Redeeming Love" (which happens to be the best novel EVER). SUCH an amazing depiction of true love. *melt*
 
The movie got corny quick, but Mandy Moore's character Sadie Jones in License to Wed...oh, and she married a Ben, so even better :p

Unfortunately Jerri Ryan (the actress who plays Seven) has been married for years but, yeah, I had a mad crush on her too back in the day. I must admit I'm a bit of a Trekkie myself. ST - Voyager rocked!
