Hello Grace ambassador, I think it is obvious by my posts that I do follow the teachings of Christ closely.
you asked:"
Which commandments of God's Precious Word Of Truth, Rightly Divided, should we be obeying"
Jesus already gave the commandments we need to obey out of Love for him here is an example in Matthew 19:16-22, Here Jesus points to the ten commandments as necessary to enter into life. There are a few more of course but these grant eternal life., these are the words of Jesus.
Do you think we need to follow the ten commandments? as Jesus explained and asked us to do? I hope you do, honestly.
It's important to understand the context to know what is being said.
Matthew 19:16-22 also says that what is impossible for man is possible for God. And the young rich man was told if a he gave away his wealth that he would be perfect, which is what the Law requires. I'm sure that giving away his wealth would not have made him perfect, but only perfect with what he could see in himself. Anyways, Jesus was making a point, He was showing that man one example that he cannot justify Himself, it's impossible. The Law requires perfect obedience.
1) Rich young ruler ----- ""Good Teacher, what good thing shall I do that I may have eternal life?"
2) Jesus ----- Says to obey the Law perfectly (giving examples of what that means).
3) Rich young ruler ---- "I have done all these things from my youth". (His perception, obviously not complete).
4) Jesus ----- "If you want to be perfect, go, sell what you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me." (one example of his many that he could not see, I'm sure).
5) Rich young ruler-----Walks away, he had great wealth and couldn't give it away.
6) Jesus--------- "what is impossible for man is possible for God."
7) The disciples reply to Jesus--------"When His disciples heard it, they were greatly astonished, saying, "Who then can be saved?""
8) Jesus looked at them and said to them, "With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
What you're saying that man must do to be saved, Jesus says it's impossible for man to do. Perfect obedience. That's why Jesus had to do it for us.
Romans 10:1-4, 8-13
Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.
But what does it say? "The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart" (that is, the word of faith which we preach): that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame." For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For "whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
