Rest up.
Maybe you just been on your feet too much. As get older, joints can rub through wear and tear. IDK am not a doctor but if he/she can explain to you what's causing the problem then you can find the appropriate treatment. (Rather than just pain relief) I really hope its nothing too serious.

That is what my wife said too. Pain relief is one thing, addressing the root cause is another thing altogether. I will definitely rest up. My last day of work is Sunday, then I will take an entire week off. I hope that it is not too serious either. I see the doctor on Wednesday morning. Thank you for your concern. I sincerely appreciate it.

I saw the doctor this morning about the pain in my right hip.

She agreed with me that the hip was probably inflamed. Told me to keep drinking the pomegranate juice and the taking of turmeric. Got two steroid shots, one in the right hip and for some reason one in the right arm.

She said it is possible that I have sciatica.

Going do some labs and follow-visit next month. She said that otherwise, I was very healthy. Hip feels a little bit better but I'm sure it's going to take a few days before the cortisone fully kicks in.

Going pick up a script tomorrow at Walmart to relax my muscles.

Right now, I'm feeling optimistic that things are going to work out for my right leg. That's a good thing for sure.

Tremendous pain since Aug 1 in my left leg. Trying to get effective treatment for it.

Went to the local ER on Aug 2. They refused to give me a small quantity of pain meds but did give me a single Tylenol. What a joke. Took a bunch of x-rays for my left leg, twisting it all over the place. Screaming my head off because of the pain that they caused on top of the pain that I already had.

Going to see my primary care doctor this morning for additional guidance on how to treat my leg. Hopefully get a small amount of pain meds.

No strength left. Pain. The screams have subsided a bit though. It's not so bad if you think about it. Of course, I have found that it is best to not over-think things.

I miss my friends on CC.

All doctors and nurses give tylenol or paracetomol because they aren't allowed to give out anything stronger right off the bat.

Pain meds are restricted where I live you had to specifically ask for them and get clearance by doctor otherwise people abused them by taking them all at once.

The big ones I remembered for my mum were codeine, tramadol, and when they wore off and didn't work, morphine (caused constipation) and oxycodone. It was the oxy that provided the best relief, but needed to be administered every couple of hours before it wore off, it was fast acting but also sustained.

I am sad to hear so much suffering, if it helps put on some rage music and scream. It's ok to do that or cry. Don't feel you need to bottle it up inside. The spirit is groaning and well, I think that's because it wants to be a new creation. Romans 8:22

I use Jim Beam for any type of pain. Psychological or psychological. Works for a bit…but my general advice would be to go see a doctor about it.

Oh my goodness. I think I need some Jim Beam to get my wording straight. LOL.

Of course, what I meant to say was “psychological and physiological”.

D*** be those ******* mistakes.😂

My doctor prescribed a modest amount of oxycodone. I am also now on a prednisone for inflammation, and I drink 8 ounces of pomegranate juice a day along with turmeric.

The amount of pain has subsided, and I am able to walk around to 10 or 15 minutes at a time without debilitating pain. My leg is on the mend, and I hope and pray that I will be able to resume work in a couple weeks.

Maybe this experience has been a blessing in disguise as I am able to get the rest that I needed. I absolutely want, by the grace of God, to become a new creation. It is a process. I sort of reinvent myself each day. Still need some fine tuning.

Take care, my friend.
