raymie says:
god doesn't exist.

the christians hate the jews because their religion teaches them they killed jesus.
also, the jews stubbornly reject jesus as messiah. antisemitism comes from christianity, nowhere else. the
bible is a myth which tries to explain why the jews aren't rulers of the world, even though their god created everything. you can't see any of this because you have an agenda. hitler picked up antisemitism from christianity, as did the muslims. in the muslims' case, it was exacerbated by the creation of Israel

NOTtheTalk - Anti-Semitism where did it come from? (International)

Do you agree, Yes or No ? (:-

Well first of all faith=believe.....

Did God tell Joshua to invade the land and KILL everyone?
Does the bible say there is a time to kill?

Lets say nation x is full of idolaters and the kids of that nation would grow up to worship idols....

Would God not be merciful to the children if he had them killed before they reached the age of accountability and in so doing makes it possible for them to make it to his kingdom, whereas, if they would have grown up as an idolater would they not end up in hell?

And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out to his brothers, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brothers. And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.,.Is this the Moses you remember-?

just curious (:-

You don't understand our God very well. He is not a fairy god mother. He is the King. Our feelings and fears in the temporary do not have the final say in His will. Quite frankly, I am glad my God transcends beyond our understanding, or I wouldn't be able to rely on Him. The point in me putting faith in Him is that He knows better than my feelings and fears. If I start judging my Father, then I rebellious claim to understand His job more than He does. As well, in the written words, the Bible is our treasured source. If we do not accept the whole truth, we accept none. But I refer you to reality. Many suffer, yet God has the power to remove suffering. So then, why is God allowing it? His intent therefore is perfect, and ours a silly waste, for we strive for the life of this flesh.

Passover

(Exo 12:21 KJV) Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

(Exo 12:22 KJV) And ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

Clearly since the had to mark their homes they lived in identical homes

The Lord I know would not condone the killing of anything, sense He created it all. The term "hate" or "kill" is not in the Lord's vocabulary

I suspect that may be very true. The REAL LORD does this...

Rev 19:11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
Rev 19:12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
Rev 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
Rev 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
Rev 19:15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
Rev 19:16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
Rev 19:17 And I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the midst of heaven, Come and gather yourselves together unto the supper of the great God;
Rev 19:18 That ye may eat the flesh of kings, and the flesh of captains, and the flesh of mighty men, and the flesh of horses, and of them that sit on them, and the flesh of all men, both free and bond, both small and great.
Rev 19:19 And I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against him that sat on the horse, and against his army.
Rev 19:20 And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
Rev 19:21 And the remnant were slain with the sword of him that sat upon the horse, which sword proceeded out of his mouth: and all the fowls were filled with their flesh.

Now the Lord you know might be mentioned here...

2Co 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.
2Co 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
2Co 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

I am a gentile. I was first baptised in a Catholic Church. Later when I married a Baptist I became a Baptist. Now I just consider myshelf a Christian and leave it at that. But in the real world we are all connected by one commonality, we are humans, all. So do as He says, love the stranger as thyself. It is written in all faiths.

.,.,.,.,.Its there

btw most of the Ten Commandments has been set into law by all members of the United Nations.
In the ten There is one that stands out above all others, Thy Shall Not Kill

Food for thought (:-

BTW being a gentile Passover is known of my business.

I would delete this thread if I could

please forgive me

no more mention of it (:-

John 5:39 Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

The passover was one of the shadows of what was to come. The schoolmaster who brings us to Christ and shows us what Christ does for us.

Was the blood on the lintel and on the doorposts the actual blood of Christ? No. It was practice in the flesh for what was to come in Spirit and in Truth.

Good Post...
The Passover certainly was one of the shadows of the real thing that was to come. Why do you thing the Lord gave us these shadows? To make fun of them and toss them aside as having nothing to do with the real thing? Have you ever tried to cut a shadow off from what it was a shadow of?

You can thumb your nose at the shadow all you want, for me, I am going to listen to scripture when it tells me to.

WHY THEY WERE CHOSEN

(Deu 7:6 KJV) For thou art an holy people unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.

(Deu 7:7 KJV) The LORD did not set his love upon you, nor choose you, because ye were more in number than any people; for ye were the fewest of all people:

(Deu 7:8 KJV) But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, hath the LORD brought you out with a mighty hand, and redeemed you out of the house of bondmen, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.

(Deu 7:9 KJV) Know therefore that the LORD thy God, he is God, the faithful God, which keepeth covenant and mercy with them that love him and keep his commandments to a thousand generations;

((Deu 7:11 KJV) Thou shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command thee this day, to do them.

(Deu 7:12 KJV) Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that the LORD thy God shall keep unto thee the covenant and the mercy which he sware unto thy fathers:

(Deu 7:13 KJV) And he will love thee, and bless thee, and multiply thee: he will also bless the fruit of thy womb, and the fruit of thy land, thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil, the increase of thy kine, and the flocks of thy sheep, in the land which he sware unto thy fathers to give thee.

God chose them to show us the way. By example, by following His Commandments and expressing the love for the stranger as we all should love our neighbors. It is spelled out in scripture, all you have to do is read it and do it and then it will be done.

(Lev 19:34 KJV) But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the LORD your God

They were chosen to show us the way, to show us how to treat the stranger, how to be compassionate and loving to your neighbor and by doing so peace would envelope the world.

The Passover certainly was one of the shadows of the real thing that was to come.

Are you saying that more children are going to die in this way-?

The passover is a one day event where all the newborn children of one community are murdered by another community. Even the newborn cattle are slaughtered. Wow, the God I know would look down on this. But even so the choice is ours to make.

Please denounce this wanton killing (:-

I don't thumb my nose at the shadow. It is a great teacher for those coming to Christ.

I just like to show people who are coming to Christ and who have come to Christ that they are no longer under that shadow but under something much better.

Galatians 5:1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

Is that one of the ones you shouldn't listen to???

Galatians 3:24-25
[SUP]24 [/SUP]Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.
[SUP]25 [/SUP]But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster.

Or this one?

Galatians is scripture too, right?
