It seems to me you sit in Moses' seat to teach me and others to follow the law to a tee, rob the freedom others and I enjoy and put a yoke on me and others here though.
Yeah, and WE are the legalists?

I sort of understand why Paul said this "I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people— for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness."Yeah, and WE are the legalists?
why are you people so afraid to really dig in and see this was fulfilled at the return of exiles. X goes ones of your proof texts.
go to the passages concerning eternity. theres no temple no moon or sun. and no plagues. no death of anything including animals you want to sacrifice. disgraceful.
STUDY!
Cool Unleavened Bread story....
I really wanted pizza the other day. So did my kids. Since we didn't have dough with yeast because we got rid of it for the Feast, I made it on matzah. It's not how I intended it to be, but it worked out exactly like it should have been.
Lesson: There are a lot of things I'd like to do for God. But sometimes there are other things in my life that keep me from doing them, or doing them well (sin, temptation, distractions, etc). But when God does an inventory of my life, and asks me to remove things from my heart or my life, I don't always have what I think I need to do them. It turns out though, that God has given me exactly what I need to do exactly what He asks me to do.
Not sure if this makes any sense to anyone else but me, but I think it's pretty cool.
Can someone who says the Jesus last supper was a Passover meal please explain WHY Paul very clearly says says Jesus is our Passover lamb? Remember Paul was a Pharisee who very well UNDERSTOOD the Mosaic law. The Passover lambs were to be killed the afternoon BEFORE Passover, yet Jesus would then have DIED almost a full DAY AFTER the Passover lambs were killed and how in the world would Paul have made the connection between Jesus and the Passover lambs if Jesus DIED ON A DIFFERENT DAY then when the Passover lambs were slain?
1 Corinthians 5
7.Get rid of the old yeast, so that you may be a new unleavened batch--as you really are. For Christ, our Passover lamb, has been sacrificed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Quick question: last day of the feast of the unleavened bread were to be a holy convocation and solemn assembly. What is it about? Thanks

during this time of year we try and study diligently the Feast of our Lord
that we may have a better understanding and a greater personal relationship with Him.
we have found that the scriptures become sweeter and sweeter as the layers are peeled away.
oh how we do so love learning and especially the input of what other like-minded-diligent seekers
have learned and experienced.
we thank our Lord for the faithful brethren.
Christ is our PASSOVER, the wages of sin is death'.
Christ died for our sins, as the Angel of The Lord spared
the Israelites from the death of the first-born of Egypt
through the sprinkling of blood,
so Christ saves us from death through His blood/sacrifice,
He is our Passover Lamb.
The Lamb is crucified,
He is raised from the dead,
He ascends to The Father,
He becomes our High Priest,
First Day of Unleavened Bread.
The Last Day of Unleavened Bread,
signifies The Completion of the Work of The High Priest.
For death is swallowed up in Victory, and God shall be All in all.
our part of the Feast is to symbolically 'put-out' sin - leaven, from our lives.
but, thanks be to God, where we fall short Christ becomes The Lord our Righteousness.
amen.
