The first time I ever heard this belief was when I first joined CC in early January. Craziness!
Some Jews I know see him same way they "see" Jesus as rabi. Besides, within me, it seems foolish giving A MAN additional information not given to Jesus. Will I give particular protagonism to an adopted child than MY FIRST BORN or those I shared my own blood?
Just to think! But I have largely seen Paul as an add on to the Gospel of the Scripture I believe (send me wherever you think of, but Jesus is enough for me).

Sorry I don't have a comment about this thread... I don't feel I need say anything in defense of Paul, he doesn't need me to back his commission that came directly from Christ

i cant help but notice that you just joined today,and that this was your 3rd post.,,in your profile you when ask what you favorite verse was listed several verses from Paul as your favorite,,,,now of Paul himself he stated that he was chief of those who were sinners against Christ,,,this seems to be what christ was looking for that is a man who would see himself as a sinner,,,,,

Where these verse overlooked in reading Scripture as concerning Paul being an apostle? There are nine (9) verses which say he was an apostle.....
Rom 1:1 Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated unto the gospel of God,

Salvation derives from the belief in Yeshua the Messiah as personal savior, not from commandment/Torah keeping; however, believers are rewarded according to their fruits, works, and obedience. Hebrew Roots followers believe that sin is breaking the written Torah (cf. 1 John 3:4), all of the purity laws such as dietary restrictions and sabbath keeping are in the written Torah, thus it is sin to not keep sabbath and to eat forbidden animals, among other social and religious observance laws. It is also true, according to Hebrew Roots followers, that those who are truly born of God will not continue in sin (cf. 1John 3:9), therefore, if you are not moved to keep sabbath or keep dietary restrictions, you must not truly be born of God.

17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
This is one, one, verse out of the entire Bible, taken out of its subject .
How dose some one then conclude , oh well, this must mean hes not a apostle or Christian. ...
What can be learned from this one, verse alone, is that Paul is laying it right on the line; he is saying Christ did not send me out to baptize anyone, not to be some great orator to reveal my great speaking skills.
The only thing that mattered to Paul is that those that heard the Word of God understood God's Word, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
Paul says I am a little bit on the crude side, and I didn't come to you with eloquent speech, but I came to open your eyes to the truth.
I Corinthians 1:18 "For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us that are saved it is the power of God."
Paul is reminding people in Corinth and to us today, that if you think the preaching of the cross is foolishness, then you are going to perish in hell fire... So lets keep with the subject, and be aware of who Paul is taking to and what about.

And account that the longsuffering of our Lord is salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also according to the wisdom given unto him hath written unto you;

In addition to my original post, according to Scripture, we'll just look at Acts 1, after recently being instructed some 40 days by the risen Lord, speaking of things pertaining to the kingdom of God, Peter stood up to address the replacement of Judas, there are a couple verses, 21 & 22, we can read of some of the requirements to take part in the ministry of the little flock, to the bride of Christ.
There is a reason for the terms, bride of Christ and the one new man. God is not the God of confusion, we all agree I'm sure. Scripture is not meant to be harmonized, but rightly divided, so that we may know some things about who we are in Christ and what God is doing in accordance with our position, calling, vocation, inheritance.
We never read about the new man in the four gospels of Christ's earthly ministry and we certainly never read about a kingdom of priests in Paul's epistles, there is a distinction for a reason, "the mystery of his will" (Eph 1:9). It's about realms & dominions, principalities & powers, a plan of glory. " wisdom which none of the princes of this world knew; for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory."

The OP seem to be a Paul hater and she is pointing out where hating Paul comes from.
Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.
Even King David ask God for a new heart and God gave him one
