People today don`t read nor understand Scripture

For a long time I went to church and listened without reading nor praying, after a few years I fell prey to evil men, then I started asking Elohim questions and finished reading the entire Bible. I can see why so many Americans are waxed out of their funds as I was.

The truth is Elohim and his Son - Jesus, don`t need money in order to achieve their goals. They are themselves the providers of all things.
The tithe is reduced to aiding the poor in New Testament, not enriching religious zealots.

The financial strain of religion based on works is the form of the anti-christ and stems from lies we`ve been hearing all our lives.
Jesus came to offer peace not money, he came to offer a sacrifice not create a pyramid-scheme.

As Christians we ought to pay close attention to the signs of the last days.

Money and the love of it, is the major concern of many churches and the men who pastor them who live in giant houses, have 4 cars in the driveway and preach emotional sermons rather than biblical truth. The US is full of these types.

What does this have to do with your thread title? Do you have a problem with local churches taking up financial offerings? Are you arguing against “tithing”? Or are you just ranting about nebulous generalizations?

Amen! Which is why I call myself a TSer and I am glad my initials are GW.

Perhaps the reason people don’t read the Bible is because they become confused due to its lack of a systematic explanation of doctrine, which is why I emphasize reading Scripture with the goal of harmonizing it. This requires having the gift of logic, especially both-and thinking, discerning implications and noting the significance of what is NOT said.
