Maybe look into the poetic language of that verse. And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt... unto a land flowing with milk and honey.
(Exodus 3:17 KJB)
It's a reference to the Fertile Crescent.
Maybe look into the poetic language of that verse. And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt... unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

“...who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?”Maybe look into the poetic language of that verse.

Sheep flock.“...who feedeth a flock, and eateth not of the milk of the flock?”
(1 Corinthians 9:7 KJB)
Eating veal is biblical.Sheep flock.
Cattle,and goats, live as herds.
Also milk from the herd.Sheep flock.
Cattle,and goats, live as herds.
Yes. However Veal described in Bible times is different than todays product.Eating veal is biblical.
He then brought some curds and milk and the calf that had been prepared, and set these before them. While they ate, he stood near them under a tree.
(Genesis 18:8 NIV)
Where are cattle in those passages? Also milk from the herd.
with curds and milk from herd and flock and with fattened lambs and goats, with choice rams of Bashan and the finest kernels of wheat. You drank the foaming blood of the grape.
(Deuteronomy 32:14 NIV)
Butter and curds of cows, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs, And rams, the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the finest of the wheat; And you drank wine, the blood of grapes.Where are cattle in those passages?
Wine is a Red Herring.
Again, todays meat and milk products are not the same as in Bible times.Butter and curds of cows, and milk of the flock, With fat of lambs, And rams, the breed of Bashan, and goats, With the finest of the wheat; And you drank wine, the blood of grapes.
(Deuter. 32:14 Amplified Bible)
“When the LORD your God expands your territory as he has promised, and you have the urge to eat meat, you may freely eat meat whenever you want.Again, todays meat and milk products are not the same as in Bible times.
Genesis 1
And God said, “Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.
Maybe read the Genesis verse again.“When the LORD your God expands your territory as he has promised, and you have the urge to eat meat, you may freely eat meat whenever you want.
(Deuteronomy 12:20 NLT)
And you have opportunity to educate your ignorance. Labeling yourself a hypocritical liar due to ignorance of the Edenic Covenant is a bit unforgiving.Such teachings come through hypocritical liars, whose consciences have been seared as with a hot iron. They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth.
(1 Timothy 4:2-3 NIV)
Read the part when God kicked Adam and Eve out of the garden. He expanded their diet to include animals.Again, todays meat and milk products are not the same as in Bible times.
Also, havarti cheese with dill is awesome and you will never convince me to stop eating it. Also white cheddar. Also triple cream brie.Maybe read the Genesis verse again.
Then read the full book for context .
After the fall of man, things changed from what was so in Eden.
The Torah, which includes the Book of Deuteronomy, was written in "Biblical Hebrew" . The original Book title was,Devarim. which means "Words".
Its name, as we know it now,"Deuteronomy" , comes from the Greek meaning "second law", is not related to the Genesis verse.
And you have opportunity to educate your ignorance. Labeling yourself a hypocritical liar due to ignorance of the Edenic Covenant is a bit unforgiving.
Study! Don't snap.
It will do you good.![]()
Precisely. Which is what I was referring to when I earlier said, things changed after the fall.Read the part when God kicked Adam and Eve out of the garden. He expanded their diet to include animals.
Does he.I can tell you right now that you are not going to win this argument. Zero knows what he is talking about.
My most recent remark in this thread, besides this one of course, it's entirely my own observation. It has nothing to do with zero.Precisely. Which is what I was referring to when I earlier said, things changed after the fall.
Does he.
It isn't about winning an argument.
And you in your remark above this one shows in this case shows you observed Zero doesn't know what he's talking about.
Yes, “veal” in Bible times and modern veal are two completely different things.Yes. However Veal described in Bible times is different than todays product.
Young calves in the time of the Bible grazed with other cattle. And may have been fattened up for ceremonial occasions. But,they still roamed freely and grazed.
Todays veal is different because of a meat industry. This in terms of production, the animals age, and dietary standards so to produce different types of veal meat.
Modern veal is a specialized product.
It does when what you said shows Zero did not know about Eden. And how the edict there changed after the fall.My most recent remark in this thread, besides this one of course, it's entirely my own observation. It has nothing to do with zero.
Not true. But he is still correct. There is nothing in the Bible to support what you have said, and quite a lot that directly contradicts it.
For the record, it is customary for a farmer to stop milking a cow about 2 months before her next calf is due, to let her body rest.It does when what you said shows Zero did not know about Eden. And how the edict there changed after the fall.
Which Zero didn't know as he introduced the Genesis verse to support his contention.
Not true.
But,I'm not going to argue either two people who ignore passages just to side up on one errant issue about a cow.
E coli, dysentery, and other food born illnesses are likely so.I wonder if they had diarrhea lettuce, e coli spinach and deadly blueberries back then...
True, to a point. No modern food resembles what they had back then.
