We just had a talk with the doctor, and my dad was basically told soon that he may be only around for a year or so. I know that's just what the doctor said, and God is the great physician, but this is really hard.

Daddy is crying. He has to work. I just....

Please pray.
 
My tears with you, and your family...such a hard time. Praying, and sweet gentle hugs and kisses. May God give you comfort, and peace!
 
It's like....dealing with dad's grief which is to know all he can, moms grief which is to try and sorta muscle through and avoid what causes it, and mine which is kinda both.
 
I was a inhome care provider for those with severe illnesses, and seen many go away. I hope God gives you strength!
 
I have prayed that God's will be done for your family, especially your daddy. Your post was quite sad for me. Your father is very brave for going to work after hearing this devastating news. He obviously loves his family very much.

Its times like this I notice really how strong dad is. To deal with all of this. He's so tired after breaking down in tears today.

Basically they said that if he takes immuno therapy he may have another year. Or they could make his organs shut down. But of course that's after 4 more treatments of current chemo.

Im trying to look on the bright side, which is that they couldn't see his tumor on the PET scan anymore. But he still had cancer spots on the bottom of his stomach. They were there before.
 
Father God we pray for ArtsieSteph's dad and family, please give your peace, comfort and let them know you are taking care of them. Lord you are the creator, we pray please give a good health to Artsiesteph's dad, let you heal him and be glorified in this dad's life and family. Lord please bless. In Jesus true name, Amen!
