All of my family are suffering with a miserable upper respiratory virus. The coughing is driving us nuts. Doctor said it would last about a week. Please pray for God to remove this menace from us and restore harmony to our lives.

So sorry to hear your whole family has this virus! I pray it does not last long.
Ugh, my closest sister was sick for three months (including over Christmas) with the same!
It was really awful for her, and she finally went on Prednisone for a week, and that helped
kick it out. It was such a relief for her to get rid of it, finally! And so nice not to hear her
coughing constantly and losing her voice any time we spoke on the phone.

If you haven't already, check the Internet for foods that fight respiratory viruses. I bet homemade chicken soup, starting with a raw piece of chicken, celery, onion, noodles etc would do wonders, oh and don't forget the garlic.

Did you try high doses of Sambucol? And lots of vitamin C and zinc.

Vitamin C and zinc provided no relief. Never heard of Sambucol.
Thank you for all your prayers. I'm finally on the way to recovery.
I finally broke down and went to the walk-in clinic early this morning. Seems I have a massive sinus infection. The doctor put me on a round of antibiotics and prednisone. She also put me on a cough syrup. I started the antibiotics and prednisone this morning. I took one dose of the cough syrup and took a nap. That's the first good sleep I've had in a week.
Please continue to pray for us.
