Someone on Facebook posted pictures of bubbles that were blown outside in freezing temps. Well these bubbles froze. So I bundled up, told my kids to watch out the front window, stood on my front porch and blew bubbles in 0 degree weather. I live on a very busy street so the cars that passed also watched me blow bubbles. They didn't freeze, what a crock.
Now I will be know as the crazy lady who blows bubbles in the extreme cold.

No, it's true! I did it when I was little. I can't remember exactly how cold it was but it was definitely below zero. It worked

Oh man I wish it worked, that would have been so cool to see! It's really windy and they kept blowing away, so maybe they sort of froze and I didn't get to see it. Thanks for letting me know there is hope for frozen bubbles.
It is pretty cool. It's nice to be able to find little fun activities to do when the temperature drops so low.
If you ever experience sub-zero weather again, try putting boiling water into a squirt gun and firing it outside. It turns into snow! At least it did for me, at -20.

I just moved to the high desert area, so it's colder. This is actually super cold to me. I can't imagine living in the East Coast right now
I'm assuming the Palmdale/Lancaster area? I lived there for a couple of years before escaping from CA.
I'm fortunate enough to be close enough to the Rockies on the east side that the worst of it is still east of me. -2f yesterday morning, 35f this morning with a high in the 40's (no wind). That's t-shirt weather around here.

Myself, I'm trying bear traps baited with chocolate. I removed the teeth from the bear traps so there shouldn't be any lasting physical damage. The shame of being rescued by me might be a problem though.

Ok, this cold weather in the southern states is hilariously insane. Sunday night Walmart was packed. It was like a zombie apocalypse having a black friday sale on brains.
People knocking each other down for break and milk. I can't stand cold weather. I seriously hate winter, but when you are a southerner and they forecast snow it is like the end of the world here.
