If you ever experience sub-zero weather again, try putting boiling water into a squirt gun and firing it outside. It turns into snow! At least it did for me, at -20. :D

Hahahah oh no I don't wish that type of cold on anyone. It's just that I've lived my entire life in a place where it's cold and dark for most of the year. You HAVE to learn how to have fun in weather like this, or else you get depressed and/or crazy. Literally. :/
 
It's so cold out that even the sundogs want to go indoors XD

people know what sundogs are right?

You're right persNickety, Mayor Rob Ford's crack-pipe lighters do indeed advertise his re-election, they even has his new campaign slogan which says "Vote For Ford Again, And He'll Take You To "High" Places".

Speaking of the sun, I've been outside for a little over 10 minutes and I'm turning into a lobster.

These are sundogs. They come out when it's frigid out. It's ice crystals or dust that is in the atmosphere and they work as a prism when the sun shines through. Quite pretty, but the beauty comes along with cold weather.

Very cool! Thanks. Who named them "sundogs"? They've obviously never seen a dog, or the sun for that matter. :P
 
It's still technically winter...and the Vortex while it may be gone from our regions..it will always live on in our hearts.

This week's been a scorcher. We've had anywhere from 42 to 45 Celsius all week!

The vortex leaving our "regions" sounds like the kind of problem we might read about on the singles forum a lot, or maybe the family forum.
 
It was very cold here today. Not arctic vortex cold, but cold enough that I wore my moon boots again.
