"your far better helping others to hit the mark then leaving because of something youve seen that you dont like."

If we are His, our lives are hidden in Him, we go where He directs, we do what He directs us to do, we lean not on our own understanding.
Jesus modeled how we are all to live, He only did what He saw the Father do, He only said what He heard the Father say.
When He directs to leave what is a waste of time we each must be obedient, God is a God of purpose.
Ok, go if you must, but please go in peace and not in hurt. Jesus did all what you said, because Jesus could. The main reason Jesus could do all this was because Jesus was and is the king. The king of us and our creator who knows every hair on your head and mine. Would I like to be like the person you describe here, and could I and am I ?. Would you like to ?

Would i like to only hear what the father says and see what the father sees ? Could I ? Could you ?.

I would love that. But then if that's all I hear then how will know when the devil is close, Some people get so tired that all they want is to go to heaven and Just hear Jesus. But then what gets left is still left on earth. We could come back as saints and fight the enemy also, who knows how you may feel once you're in heaven, Jesus could say go down to earth and rescue that child from a demon please. As the saying goes the lords work is always needed, not never done tho as the saying goes, because i believe the lords work can be done will be done and remain done. When we also become his finished work. I would like you to stay in this thread as i have valued you before and remembered you for that .

Do you not understand your own OP? You ask if smoking is a temptation of the devil. Those who give into such temptations are IN DANGER of eternal damnation are they not?

I am listening to Scripture talking, not the devil. I am not sure who you are listening to though
No thats where you and many other people fall by the way side. Temptation to tempt you into a false premise is the sin of the devil and his demons. when you say it is a persons fault for falling fall or giving in for temptation then you give full credit to the devil. If we are all going to hell for giving into temptation, then sadly we must be allready in hell.

I repeat temptation is a sin of the devil.

You seem to be very reactive, finding the worst possible way to interpret the comments of others, while expecting others to take your words in the best possible way. That's toxic and hypocritical.
Define toxic into inhaling nicotine smoke, then you may have a point. As for these words I write. You could breathe them in and spew them back at me as many a time you have. But the real mud that sticks is an everlasting stink of the people tortured in hell for all eternity. That's got to be really toxic down there, or is the toxic the start of our next chat whereby more mud is chucked. Are you a smoker ? Have i offended you ? Because you sound offended to me. or are you just looking for more trouble, I've debated with you now for months and your not always right, all tho some of your correctness may be righteous and backed with authority, This doesn't always make you right. Temptation could now trigger another false premise if you take my advice the wrong way. I would like to forget you encourage dogma, but you just keep on reminding me,

The Roman Catholic Church does not condemn smoking per se, but considers excessive smoking to be sinful, as described in the Catechism (CCC 2290): The virtue of temperance disposes us to avoid every kind of excess: the abuse of food, alcohol, tobacco, or medicine.

We should look at this tho and not dismiss it. a comber nation of all this can be no good for you later in life. Especially for the middle-aged people who go through the unavoidable middle-aged spread (suddenly bloating out etc), i have spoken to many people, and it seems to happen at the age of a round about 48 years old, my research from speaking direct to people is that they all say if you suddenly just start to put weight on because of the middle-aged spread, there normally a problem, and sadly a high percentage of people go through the middle age spread. it is so sad that most will not even be able to give or know how to give their partner a life-saving resuscitation from a heart attack caused by high blood cholesterol, or high blood sugar.

I don't know if cigarette smoking is a temptation from Satan. I have no doubt that it is for some people.

But the real temptation that we all face is Satan's temptation to see how far we go, how much we can get away, with without cancelling our fire insurance. This is a pathetic perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Serving the Lord isn't seeing how much we can get away with and still make it, but seeing how much of this world we can lose to please Him.

I used "toxic" in the sense of "relationally destructive" which I hoped you would understand. I guess not. Instead you went off on a rant.

Oh well.

Bible - Plants

My people used tobacco for many reasons in past generations. And still do. It isn't the plant that sews "evil" it is the thinking that makes it so.

That being said, I think cigarette smoking is the stupidest habit on the face of the planet.

At least if someone uses plants for narcotic purposes they're getting some kind of experience for their trouble.

Cigarettes on the other hand are cancer delivery systems. Nothing more. So while the tobacco plant isn't evil, the first cigarette company to freebase nicotine to guarantee repeat customers due to their addiction under that influence most certainly are. Especially when long ago when those companies were allowed to advertise on television and in print media, they utilized the children's cartoon characters Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble to sell their poison. Totally intending to influence children in that time to think smoking was cool. So that when they grew up they'd become the next cash crop of consumers/victims.

You know I have come to this place with renewed hope that some people are so close to being the elite and great soldiers for Christ they could be, you being one of them my friend. You don't know how close you are with your last sentence to completely understanding how temptation works, but if only you and others would war against the devil and his army more instead of the sinner, we would be in such a great place.

Because you have great potential. You wrote this,,,, The real temptation that we all face is Satan's temptation to see how far we go, how much we can get away, with without cancelling our fire insurance. This is a pathetic perversion of the gospel of Jesus Christ.

You are so close here with working the devil out, only you have done what most do and once again pass responsibility else where brother away from the devil. The devil starts of with the little things in a person, like take little children with immature minds. The devil will tempt them to steal a dollar and say, it's only a little, bit, or in another way the devils temptation to a child may be could you rob a bank, and at the same time stand by child and make the child sense fear. 2 things here the child would not recognize or many adults including you to, why would the devil also make the child feel fear and sense fear at the moment of tempting him into stealing something big. Think about this now.

1 how could the devil make you feel fear and sense fear ? Just by simply standing next to you brother.

Any living person will become afraid or clam up or the nerves become effected, or their emotions go crazy. And would not know why, would not recognize either.
This next bit is important

The devil makes the child feel fear at the moment of temptation, the child get scared to rob a bank.

The devil then tempts the child to steal something else and less serious like a dollar left on the floor, but doesn't make the child feel fear but then says to the child I can do that, that's easy, and the punishment is not that bad if I get caught. The child now thinks he can get away with this because he's not feeling fear, and the devil will say this to the child also, your not fealing fear this is easy.

The devil will use the same method for making a child smoke a cigarette brother, like tempt the child to take some serious drug and make the child feel fear at the same time the child will get scared and say no

Then the devil will tempt the child to smoke a cigarette and make the child not feel fear at the same time, making the child believe it's ok you can get away with this too at the same time, because the child is not scared the devil will then say over and over you can do it, and then the child does it, The devil will do it every day until a child caves in, and through fear he does, because the devil will keep the child feeling and not feeling fear every day as he tempts them. Ok brother because nicotine is so addictive even after just one puff, the child becomes addicted.

Then It's on to drink and drugs, each time the devil using fear, between hard drugs and soft drugs, or strong drink and weak drink. This is how the war is lost brothers and sisters

That's it brother once the child's senses are nullified the devil can get take over and possess the child too, its happening all other the world brother

Calling someone "religious" isn't condemning them.
depends on what context calling somebody religous was used in. and i have seen many try and condem people by calling people religous which is wrong to me. im in a agreement with being religous is a good thing if what your bein religous about is a good thing, how ever people have the idea that people force religion and then say being religous is bad. im sure that is the context it was aimed against me at by @Gideon300

It seems to me that is what you are doing also by calling me toxic and hypocritical in the same sentence. OH AND YOU WOULDNT MIND THAT A BROTHER HAS JUST BEEN INSULTED JUST INSULT HIM SOME MORE.,,,,,, thats my rant over, so there as @eternally-gratefull says if the shoe fits then wear it, ha

Let's discuss this context rather than some hypothetical one. In this context, it was not a condemnation.

I did not say you are toxic and hypocritical; I called your actions toxic and hypocritical. If you can't distinguish between yourself and your actions, then you need help.

Quite incredible how nature works, there bones are on the outside, where by humans bones are on the inside.
Fascinating creations indeed. Same with Lobsters.

Another fascinating point about shellfish is the shells and that white "glue" like substance that we see when we're eating lobster, is very effective in the natural healing of arthritic joints. The properties are referred to as glucosamine sulfate and glucosamine hydrochloride.

Having personal experience with these properties I can tell you, it is not a surprise nature is God's medicine cabinet, though it is a wonderful testimony to share just how powerfully effective those particular properties of shellfish work.

And unlike synthetic pharmaceuticals, etc.... have none of their side effects.
Though it need be said those with shellfish allergies should abstain from their use.
