I don't understand what is so bad about porn which is basically people just having sex so your allowed to have sex but your forbidden you to watch what you
just had or or film it ... whats the big whoop? someone? anyone? + ive never seen in any of the commandments say you shalt not watch porn or film it so ill continue to
though i don't watch it often i still view here or there i don't see anything bad about it everyone has sex its not a big deal to me its not something that can
be hidden it happens everywhere its happening right now whether you wont it to or not it still is.

I think more men have this problem more than women. Not that I'm being... I can't find the word for it.

In order to succeed you have to fail sometimes, it is best to flee temptation, literally. When you get the urge just run away from it, I know it sounds silly but if you do it enough times you mind will get the picture, and stop spending so much time alone, I normally leave the bedroom door wide open where people could see you, if your not alone you won't watch it.
I'm a girl and I've struggled with porn. And I still do. It's an ongoing process.
People who have not struggled with it think that we can stop looking at it and we'll be fine. Unfortunately it's not that easy..
There's more and more Christians falling to this, and there's actually more and more Christian women who fall to it. It's definitely something Satan's trying to use to take us down.
I've come a long way and I no longer feel the condemnation. But it still takes a huge effort not to be hard on myself. I find that I need to constantly remind myself of positive, encouraging things. I need to surround myself with positive things, positive people, positive music.
I watched a video today about the mind, and it talked about how we all like to feel happy and pleasured. After viewing porn, those "happy" emotions are stored in the brain. And time after time, the brain wants to feel those feelings again- and so it tries to zero in on feeling it again. And so we find ourselves giving in again, even when we don't want to. But if we can find a way to channel that to something else, get something else to cause those "happy" feelings- I think there could be a breakthrough.
I've also found that listening to Christian music helps me resist. I have it on almost all the time, and I don't allow myself to be alone unless necessary.
A big thing that helps is to talk about it, to remember we're not alone, to accept support and look for accountability

you probably don't see it because you don't understand the word covet, watching porn is because you want to see people having sex, your actually coveting what they are doing, when you lust its coveting something you don't have.

you made a good point when you talked about failures, it was all the times of failure that brought me to the place where I was able to finally see porn for what it was A BIG LIE! it always promises satisfaction but ALWAYS delivers unsatisfaction, I always left feeling bad and like I let Jesus down in my inability to control this part of my life.......
It took alot of failures to get where I am today, porn has no draw for me because when temptation came I simply rebuked the thought and verbally said out loud "YOUR A LIAR" you never leave me feeling good! its always the opposite" and now its been almost a year but I've not only got free from porn but from masturbation as well and I never in a million years thought I could ever get free from that, but the secret to getting free was honestly taking control of my thought life,
before I would allow myself to play out all sorts of sexual fantasies and memories and escapades in my mind, and soon I was completely powerless to stop my flesh from acting out what already began in my mind.
never realized how much strength I had to resist temptation if I snuffed out every ungodly thought that tried to cross my mind, if I see a beautiful girl and realize that a glance at her may cause me to think somthing more I will keep my eyes from looking at her.
control the mind and the eyes and your flesh will fall right in line, It took quite a while, and had more failures than success at the very start, but it was my greatest failures that brought the success I'm living in today......I give God all the glory, it was His words of holding every thought captive to Christ that brought this freedom
Or you're watching and laughing at how terrible the filming and acting was. Either way, not something that should be supported IMO.

I've gotta disagree with the video game parts. Kill is in video games, but there are people that play video games for more of the storylines than just random killing.
