The Sons of Sceva ACTS CHAPTER 19
13Now there were some itinerant Jewish exorcists who tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those with evil spirits. They would say, “I bind you by Jesus, whom Paul proclaims.” 14Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15Eventually, one of the evil spirits answered them, “Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but you, who are you?” 16Then the man with the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. The attack was so violent that they ran out of the house, naked and wounded.17This became known to all the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, and fear came over all of them. So the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor.

It is like wearing a fake badge. Their's no authority in it. It;s fake phony, as a child's gamely lamely toy.

It says they were itinerant meaning wanderers.
Not committed to the Lord Jesus Christ, neither knowing him as personal savior having no roots in him just using his name.
The 7 of them were attacked by one man who it says had unclean evil spirits in him that he subdued all and wounded them.
The evil spirit spoke as it says, that he knows who Jesus was, and Paul, ​

This could happen anytime. The devil or lets say evil could over power you in lusts, temptations, because he knows your head games and who you really are, neither here or there, not walking and living in the Fruits of ​

Your easy prey, if you don't pray, and only play church.

These are some of the most powerful examples from this chapter that most of mental health problems would be resolved, loss of hope of not bknowing God as a caring Father in heaven if we knew or know ourselves , and who we are , what we stand for , and where we stand , as on the rock of Christ the chief corner stone where we build our lives upon to withstand the storms of life, and not as the parable of the foolish man who built his house upon the sand, and when the storm hit him great was the destruction. Poor self esteem, lack of confidence, and fear insecurity stares many in the face, to darken the light of the Lords word of who he made us to be his, adopted en-grafted, and calls us his sons and daughters, Galations 4:6. This is our identity, as we know that we know we belong to him. I'm sorry to remove the comments allowed as per my post, this is a holy site to me dwelling and indulging in his presence, and his word. Those with encouragement are builders of one another, those who discourage are destructive. I hope that the Holy Spirit feeds us strength through his wisdom, light, and instruction. kalyna18
