The best way to break out of prison is to... (Don't get any wise ideas!!)
There was a king of Israel I think it was of Israel, but he came and saw all the mess Israel had polluted themselves with (their high places) and he had found the law of God, and he made all of the people subject to it again as they had gone away from it. So he got together some people, and destroyed all the high places where the people went to sacrifice.
The Holy Spirit hit me hard with this. He was showing me exactly what I was doing. I too had high places that I needed to destroy. If you follow Israel, you will see that some kings would do okay in some areas, but they would not remove the high places, and this lead Israel back into sin.
So you see, we can't hold onto ANYTHING that we know will tempt us.
Then eventually I read, ''MAKE NOT PROVISION FOR THE FLESH, TO FULFILL THE LUST THEREOF.'' Yup. Now hear what the Lord has said.
Don't set the stage up for your sin, just to tempt yourself. The hardest thing to do is destroy the high places, because we are so familiar with them. But my friend, this is a spiritual thing also. I hope the Lord opens this revelation to you.
