So I'm pretty shy and I'm been struggling with my faith for a while. I still believe but living the christian life is hard. I usually consider myself lonely. However last Friday, our youth group had an overnight vigil. It was nice and at one point people just started praying for one another. I couldn't go up to someone and pray for them because I had nothing to give spiritually. However a girl saw me and she prayed for me. It was random but it felt very good. I usually feel alone but in this case I was reminded that I wasn't and people actually do care. After she was done, I was in tears and I felt a good warmth. Basically I'm just saying that if you are in church and you see someone lonely and alone, ask if you wanted prayer. She asked and I said yes, she's also one of the kindest people I ever met. You never know how much a genuine prayer for someone and an act of kindness, how much that can lift their spirits.
