Some of you may know me here but this is my first post here.

I am going through a divorce and we have two children. This has been ongoing for over 11 months now. Suffice it to say she has no intention to return the marriage to a united state.

With the agreement almost done I see that I will not be able to afford much of anything of the necessities of life. After all the requirements (some set by the state) are paid I am left with enough to pay rent and some utilities. This is good however I will need a vehicle as the current one has over 106,000 miles, gas money to get the children for my parenting time, food money, insurance etc. the list goes on but the money runs out.

So I would ask for prayers for several reasons:

1. the most important that our children will survive through this painful experience and flourish.
2. that our family would somehow miraculously return to its proper state
3. if it is His will to continue this path that both my wife and I be able to support our children

Neither one of us has a penny to spare and all financial avenues have been taken.

Thank you for your prayers.

Dear idaho2010,
I will pray for your family, brother, but if you want the marriage to continue don't completely give up hope. In Jeremiah 32, verse 27, God tells us “I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?"

God bless you and keep you in your time of sadness.

You are absolutely correct, through Him all things are possible. I have done what I can and tried my best to follow His will through this. I am faced with signing the papers of facing a civil divorce trial...tough options. So I will pray and ask for prayers for a good resolution. But I still have faith.

Idaho2010, if it is any help to you, I contested my divorce to the very end. (he was filing under irreconcilable differences. I denied irreconcilable differences and refused to sign the papers.) I fought! I fought for a number of reasons. One: so that I could look my children in the eye wheever (if) they ask "what happened?"
And two: I will be held in account for how I conducted myself in this life.....I am not responsible for what my husband has done, but I am certainly responsible for how I react to it.

I know this is not an easy road to walk.....but know that you have to live with the choices you make. No matter the outcome, live in a way that you know you are laying out a legacy to be proud of.

Heavenly Father, I stand with my brother before You with everyone else praying for him agreeing with him in prayer. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Thank you for your prayers.

Make a commitment to love your spouse not just the marriage. Love is hard and not an easy thing to maintain. there are dark forces in the world that want us to fail, but God is stronger and we must put our trust in him and LISTEN when He speaks to us. I will pray for you in your family and if you need someone to talk to there is always God but I am willing to listen and pray with you as well as you wait for God's answer for your life.

Dear brother, I pray our Lord will heal your family if possible, if not I pray that He will protect your children from the dire effects, let them know that they are loved by you both, I pray that our Lord will lead you both to a closer relationship with Him, keep you all from harm and trouble and provide for all your needs, in Jesus name, Amen.

Love in Jesus
bro Gary
