And - yes - I know that we should not be 'obsessed' with it to the point of imbalance; however, it is also true that some people dedicate themselves to it because most others do not - and someone needs to ... for the sake of others...

I have at least one gallon of water in the trunk of my car at all times. I know how to gut/clean a lot of animals, and start a fire.

I've been through hurricanes where we've lost power, grocery store shelves empty, gas stations out of fuel, etc.
I'm not worried about going hungry..maybe I'm naive, but the body can go a pretty long time without food.

The idea of death doesn't scare me so much as not being spiritually prepared, or just being brutally tortured and murdered by a psychopath.
 
Starving to death is supposed to be unspeakably awful. It affects the mind, eventually.
 
New Age Hippie stuff if ya' ask me. LOL nah..it is pretty cool...dunno if I'd wanna be on top of everyone like that,yanno..a man like me needs his alone time to bask in all his handsomeness. LOL

So was I! btw...do you have the flintstones on dvd or vhs???? lol Loved that cartoon as a child...wha? oh..er...ohhhhh a flint stone...to make fire. Oh....mmmmmm fire good!
