Matthew 13

13 That same day Jesus went out of the house and sat by the lake. 2 Such large crowds gathered around him that he got into a boat and sat in it, while all the people stood on the shore. 3 Then he told them many things in parables, saying: “A farmer went out to sow his seed. 4 As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. 5 Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. 6 But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. 7 Other seed fell among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. 8 Still other seed fell on good soil, where it produced a crop—a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. 9 Whoever has ears, let them hear.”

Matthew 13

18 “Listen then to what the parable of the sower means: 19 When anyone hears the message about the kingdom and does not understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away what was sown in their heart. This is the seed sown along the path. 20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to someone who hears the word and at once receives it with joy. 21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away. 22 The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. 23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to someone who hears the word and understands it. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

I don't care about getting wealthy. I would like to be happy and get rid of depression and about half of my physical pain.

Luke 8:11-15

11 “This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God. 12 Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved. 13 Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away. 14 The seed that fell among thorns stands for those who hear, but as they go on their way they are choked by life’s worries, riches and pleasures, and they do not mature. 15 But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Even though I've grown up in the Church and have said some form of Sinners prayer, more times then I can tell you. I'm probably not going to be in heaven. I just don't feel that God is answering my prayers. If He's not answering my other prayers then why should I trust that He answered that one? I feel like I've been abandoned by God. I know you could point me some scriptures and say "see here" and try to reason with me. But I just feel like there is something messed up. Something that is so deeply messed up that I may not be able to have the right kind of faith, or the right kind of Love for Jesus that I need to be a Christian. I know you looking for clues in my writing. But know this, no matter how well I try to write in a blog, or in any message. I can not cover all the details you need to read. My brain will not output enough information. Sometimes conversation helps, because in conversation, there is back and forth.

I try to get in the word the best I can. I try to pray the best I can. But nothing works for me. That is why I think I was maybe made for Hell. Lately I've been feeling like I've been gradually loosing my belief. Not the belief in Jesus being a real person that came and died and rose again. But loosing my belief in my own salvation.
You definitely appear to be in a spiritual desert.

I've been there before. And not just for a short time. I'd highly recommend reading, studying, and praying on the prodigal son parable.

But before such a time as the Holy Spirit opens up your heart and mind, cling to the Gospel. In essence, clinging to Jesus. The Gospel is a person, not a formula.

It contains mandatory, essential elements that all revolve around Jesus.

He is God come in the flesh, with the express mission of enabling YOU to be with HIM in Heaven, for eternity,
He did this by taking YOUR place in death, to pay YOUR sin debt. (Confess all this with your mouth)
He rose from the grave to prove that YOU WILL BE TOO! (Believe this in your heart)

If you have done this, FANTASTIC! YOU are a born again child of God!
You ONLY need to be born again once. You can remember, and cling to, this Gospel Truth as much as you need, but you don't need to make sure it "took".

Your adversary the devil HATES you, and he also does not want you to become an effectual Christian that will bring others to Christ.

So he will torture you, realizing that YOU haven't yet realized that you are God's child. He will remind you constantly of your past, as well as constantly tempt you. He gets a sick joy watching you believe you are powerless against him. He will beat you like a drum, saying things like, " Haha! You call yourself a Christian!? You are a fraud, and are joining me in hell!".

He is a liar, and the father of lies.

IF, you were lost, he wouldn't bother with you at all. Why would he? The very fact that he attacks you, proves that you are not his.

Holy Father, reveal to Your child who he is in Your Son, Jesus the Christ. Show him the power he has with Your indwelling Spirit to resist the devil and his temptations. Make him an effectual Christian, that will not be ashamed of the Gospel, or to share it with all.

In Jesus Name I pray.

I have thinking about writing a blog about Why I think I'm going to Hell, and why I might Ok with it. I'm sure that would a controversial topic. What I would do in that blog is show some scriptures and make the argument that even Christian believers are going to end up in hell because the bible says that anyone who commits X sins. I know almost exactly which scriptures, I think back up this point of view. Because as far as I can tell, every believer I have ever know commits those sins, every now and again. Even the sin of Anger, is like murder.
I don’t think anyone would be ok with notion of eternal if they really knew what it was. Common grace falls on all of us. You still have the ability to find comfort from emotional and even physical torments. All of that is gone for the damned once judged. God’s wrath is continuously poured out.

We all deserve it. Not one of us has very truly seeked after God. Yes, there will be a lot of people who claimed the faith, but were never brought in. Another poster mentioned the four soils parable. When Christ said it is finished, he meant it. The propitiation for His sheep was made compete.

Generally speaking, people who are not saved do not concern themselves with whether or not they are saved.

I’m going to be honest with you. You’re not going to find the answers to these questions online but in real life.
‘Unless you just want to write like you said and not looking for any answers.

You are going through a trial. This is no more than a trick of the enemy to try to steal your hope and joy in the Lord. You said yourself you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ so now it's time to believe in his love, forgiveness, salvation, and the power of His might.

Now is the time to rebuke the enemy who walketh about seeking to kill, steal, and destroy. Resist him and he will flee. Draw nigh to God and He will draw nigh to you. This is the word of God and our promise. And we know the word of God is quicker, more powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.

Worry not about what soil you are on at this time, but purpose in your heart to get rooted and grounded in the Love of God. Turn to the Lord with all your heart, mind, and soul, read His word, pray without ceasing, and put complete faith and trust in Him and this will break up the fallow ground and prepare your heart to become rooted and grounded in the Lord.

Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the Lord, till he come and rain righteousness upon you. – Hosea 10:12

Jeremiah 4:3
3 For thus saith the Lord to the men of Judah and Jerusalem, Break up your fallow ground, and sow not among thorns.
