God does not sound like the KJV. But you have been told this before. God also did not speak in the OT like the KJV. He spoke in hebrew. But you have been told this before also.

You never gave one verse to prove what you say. Once again you just have your little belief. God can speak how He wants. You've never been used in the gift of tongues and interpretation or prophecy, probably because you confuse salvation and water baptism with baptism in the Holy Spirit. You don't have the power of God. You have no Scripture. You believe a myth! It is written in English. Admit you don't understand or admit you do understand. How can you be against prophecies you don't understand. But I suspect you do understand. So God obviously speaks where you can understand. No problem with that.

No, It was written in Chaldean, Hebrew, Arabic and Greek. It is translated into the English. The KJV is a translation of the origionals by people of long long ago who spoke a certain way and had a certain language, and it was translated in this way. I guess you did not know this. I guess Moses wrote in English. as did all the apostles and prophets??
No one speaks that way now. So God has no need to speak that way now.
Anyone can cut and past verses out of the King Jimmy and say it is prophesy. Some did it earlier, sounded just like you. and admitted he was no prophet. Heck I could do this. but what purpose would it serve? Anyone can read the word of God. they do not need a prophet to cut and past what it says and call himself "inspired by God" Then we have your false doctrines to contend with. But you are not willing to discuss them. so why bother.

You think everyone is running from you, maybe you should consider that you are the one who people don't like to talk to. No one wants to hear your false doctrine and personal confusion. You talk like we are all children and you are some kind of adult. You should have more respect for people. No one is running, I've answered your false doctrine several times. I don't agree with you. Is that what makes you think I am running? No one is afraid to talk to you, you just don't listen. I never said water baptism was required for salvation. You said that. You are a false accuser. Prophecy is God speaking about current things at times. It does not conflict with Scripture because it comes from God. To say there is no need to hear from God now is to tell God to 'shut up'. I can actually agree with that statement. As I stated in another thread there were hundreds of prophets in the Bible who never wrote Scripture. Why are these prophets not Scripture writers if that's all a prophet does? Because prophets are not just writters of Scripture, like the major and minor prophets. They give messages to people, from God. God can speak about current events. Prophecy is not the only time in the New Testament we claim to hear from God. In tongues and interpretation, given by the Holy Spirit, we believe we are hearing from God through someone who is baptised in the Holy Spirit and has the gift of tongues and interpretation. I know lots of people who have this gift and I have heard them speak as the Spirit gave the utterance But the facts remain: Your words are not prophetic, they are judgmental; even if they were prophetic in nature, that does not make you a prophet. Your EMMENSE PRIDE negates any concept of you having the OFFICE of a prophet...that along with your consistent SELF-DEFENSE. "I know lots of people who have this gift and I have heard them speak as the Spirit gave the utterance" So what!!??! No one cares! And if the truth be known, almost everyone of us here can say that 'we know people' who operate in the gifts of the Spirit.
Jonathan, you have received MUCH counsel from those in this group that are mature and seasoned...some of us are baptized in the Holy Spirit, with tongues and interpretations. Yet you operate in prideful, self-acclamation of being a prophet. You have been asked questions which you have YET not answered, which is to show angry, fearful pride, rather than innocent humility: You have you studied under? Even the prophets in the Bible sat under proven prophets and attended the school of prophets. Other than your friends, who in your church declares you to be a prophet? Your pastor or bishop? Whom do you prophesy to? Your friends? Strangers? Why is it so important to you to be NOTICED as a prophet rather than a friend of God?
You do not understand the Character of God, nor His love. Your words are FULL of judgment and your personal opinion.
I will give YOU a prophecy: I believe the Lord will give you dreams and visions in which you will see yourself fulfilling the TRUE destiny that He created you for. They will encourage you, but there is a responsibility that goes with your call. I believe God is calling you to a higher level of intimacy with Him that will afford you a greater understanding of all that He is; His desire is to use you to advance the Kingdom, but there must be nothing of yourself standing in the way.
And from me, Maggie: Don't be your own worst enemy in this. Get educated; learn about the different offices and giftings so that you can have what He has for you in the waiting.

John, You have serious issues. No one can talk to you. I have seen many people try to talk to you and you ignore them or condemn them. Your the one with the problem. I never said you believed water baptism was essential. I said I assume (since you do not believe HS baptism is) quite frankly your the only one I have ever met who believes the way you do. Everyone I know understand that baptism is essential for salvation. They just differ on which one saves. Your the only man I know who does not believe any baptism saves us.

Nothing that this man says to me can hurt me or sway me. I already have my Victory in Christ Jesus because he accomplished victory over sin and death by his Resurrection. The devil has No power over me. I've been crucified with Christ and raised with Christ. I'm a new creature and now Jesus lives within my heart. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them."

Going to an AG college does not make one a Biblical scholar. I also attend Global University. But I am not yet a scholar. And to top it off, AG does NOT recognize prophets today*. Read their positional paper on Apostles and prophets. You have just stuck your foot in your mouth....claiming to be a AG college grad yet saying things the AG does not agree with!
*I'm certified as Pastor, almost done with license...HOWEVER, because of their stance on several topics is disagreeable with me, I am looking into United Theological in Ohio.
