If the earth stopped rotating now, instantly, every movable object would not stop at the same time. The oceans would send tsunamis beyond comprehension over the land. That is somewhat out of the ordinary.

Try again. Come up with some real evidence. You cannot because the earth is a globe. Ask any navigator or commercial/military pilot.
