Question concerning the Bible ?

Im Muslim and iv been studying the Bible for some time and have been talking to Christians because i want to learn more about religions and come to the truth. if a christian could answer this i would be grateful! thanks!

Deuteronomy 18:18 "I will raise for them a Prophet like you (Moses) from among their brethren and will put My words in his mouth, and he shall speak unto them, all that I command him."

here God is telling the people that he will raise a PROPHET like Moses right? from among their brethren? and God will put words in his mouth? and he shall speak unto them? all that GOD commands him? CORRECT?

Could someone clarify who and which Prophet is God talking about? Thanks!

hmm okay but isnt Jesus known as son of God or God? but in this verse it says "Prophet". Also " ... like you (Moses)". if we learn, we will see Jesus peace be upon him was very unlike Prophet Moses, peace be upon him. Prophet Moses' birth was natural whereas the birth of Jesus was miraculous without a father to a virgin, peace be upon her. Prophet Moses married and had children, Jesus did not marry and of course did not have any children. please clarify, much appreciated.

Hey, God has blessed you and put faith in your heart to believe in God, so has he done to me. I have seen Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him in my dream, and now you might be woundering, "if you dont know how the prophet looks like how do you know its him?" well, after i had the dream i went to look at the history of the prophet Muhammed peace be upon him, and what sort of appearance he had. and guess what my friend, it was exactly the same as i had in my dream! He was sent by God and at the same time he is God. This is not my opinion, but the words of the bible.

God created man but When Adam sinned, he polluted all people with a sin nature. The bible says the penalty for sin is death. Because God loves us he came up with a solution. He sent Jesus to save us from our sins. Jesus lived without sinning and thru his death on the cross, we can be counted as Holy before God with an imputed righteousness.

You might not understand this, but if you ask him to explain it, he will.

my friend, i dont understand, and i know you dont either, what ur doing is LEAVING IT TO GOD TO EXPLAIN, God has given us a brain to understand, learn and reflect. if you believe God was a prophet and God at the same time, this is a clear contradiction my dear friend. just like a squared-triangle. Just because this is mentioned in the 'Bible' does not make it Gods word. Answer this my friend, if there was an error in the Bible (assuming there is), would you still follow the Bible because YOU believe its all Gods word? or would you use the intellect God gave you and study? and come to a reasonable conclusion perhaps it cant be the word of God, because if it was? Just because something seems to be a contradiction, that alone does not mean it is false. Light is both a particle and a wave. When you are talking about God, you are not talking about anything we can put in a box and understand it. How can the finite understand the infinite? God has no beginning or end, this is not logical, but I am sure even you believe this.

I do not believe in God because I can prove He exists. It is a matter of faith.

Jesus was raised from among His brothers (Matthew 1).
All that He spoke were the words of Jehovah, as He commanded He spoke (John 12:49).

May you come to know the Prophet Jesus who was mighty in deed and word before God and all the people (Luke 24:19).

You must read the whole passage and you will see this about Yeshua / Jesus. In Matthew 11:4-5 God’s Holy word applies this to Yeshua/ Jesus.

5-) PSALMS 84:5-6 : .. they go through the valley of Baca; there it has a placeof springs; the early rain also covers it with pools.This is about people who but there trust in GOD, this is not about a prophet.This is about what GOD does for those you trust him. You need to read the wholepassage.

John 16:13 when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you intoall the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears,and he will tell you what is yet to come. This is talking about the giving ofthe Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit isnot a man but Spirit.

DEUTERONOMY 18:19 : I myself will call to account anyone who does notlisten to my words that the prophet speaks in my name. Whenyou see He capitalized in the middle of a sentence this is referring to Yeshua/ Jesus. This is also put right after the prophecy of Elijah, so also does apply to him as well.

so if i made a book right now and "claimed to be God", and said "Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;" , would you completely fall into my book and say its claiming to be from God and its saying "Trust in it"? would you?
"God has no beginning no end" < that in fact is logical in the sense that God lives OUTSIDE time and space, time and space is a creation, even scientists cant reject that, so that smart argument you tried dont work my friend.

Christ is A god but not the god of Israel, Christ is the son not the father and I will show you what I mean by that.

john 10:33 The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.[SUP]34[/SUP] Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Basically Christ was going around saying he is god and/or son of god, so the Jews got mad at him for saying that. Then he quoted from Psalm 82:6 in the (OT) reminding The Jews the father said they are all gods. So all of Israel are Gods and sons of the father, the word Israel itself means princes of god. So Christ is the son not the father, It would be a big contradiction calling Christ the father because he prays to the father and always says my father who is in heaven.
