Something to ponder, i thank GOD that we have people who have different beliefs from the same Bible.
From cessaonists(excuse the spelling), to pentecostals, to others who belong not to ANY denomination.

I ask, how do we help an un-believer or a young christian to find truth? do we direct them to a pentecostal church or to a cessaonists church(not sure if they have churches). What is the right thing to do when it comes to telling people on what to believe?

Do we impose what we know and have studied and learnt on people? or do we impose what the Holy Spirit tells us to? and how do we go about doing that with them?
And if GOD gave you the opportunity in the past, What fruits have been reaped from that soul that you spoke to About JESUS the Crucified and resurrected?

My View is

I guess it comes back to the point of saying, I BELIEVE and WHAT GOD tells me to Believe!!. or puts in my heart to believe.!!. So key point being if we are sure that GOD revealed HIS Secrets(HIS WORDS) to us, then why do we find opposition to the very same people who confess that they have given their lives to Christ? Are they Hypocrites, wolves? or fallen to misunderstandings and do not want to learn the truth?(give whats holy to dogs), and how do know when a person truly wants to learn the things of GOD?
I know GODS character to be of such that HE SEARCHES OUT THE HEARTS AND REINS OF MEN. To find what? IF THERE IS ANYTHING left in that man or womans heart that GIVES HIM/HER the very thirst for GOD and much more(who can Counsel GOD?)
Again do we all have different Heaven that we hope to go to? because this different beliefs within "Christians" shows differently!!..

I hate division although i do confess it is almost unavoidable, but it confuses me that, those who have given their lives to CHRIST, are LED by the SAME HOLY SPIRIT(or say they are), can still be at war with each other instead of LOVING ONE ANOTHER AS THE LORD did.

why i hate this? i do not know.!!.

And its true that i disagree with a couple people here on their beliefs, why? i have SEEN GOD with my own eyes do the very things they DISAGREE to have been done.

Or are many Christians like Thomas? Wanting to touch the Lord with their hands and feel the holes in HIS hands in order to believe that HE died? or is this the wicked generation the Lord speaks that seeks after signs and wonders?

Or are people being EXTRA CAREFUL on what they believe?

I believe Given the Lord taught us about Love, Kindness, Mercy(not perfect here) there is always a way about to discuss faith matters especially with fellow believers, THE HAND cannot say to the feet that it does not need it, but the hand can learn from the feet. so much as the eye can learn from the ear.

thinking about it, i suppose there is that root of self righteousness a sister pointed out here on an earlier post. i pray that i do not die having exalted my thoughts, but the LORDS.

what do yall say? Please no arguments, we can discuss this with the humility of a little child, and the wisdom of AN OLD MAN..!!..

You don't IMPOSE your beliefs on anyone.
If a non-believer asks you for your opinions, then give it to them.
Unless it is YOUR child, leave young children alone.

Christ prayed for unity, died for unity, and there will be no such thing as denominations in heaven. However, we live in a fallen world; the reality is that apostasy and liberalism is plaguing Christianity. As such, there are certain so-called Christian denominations that I would not recommend joining because they deny essential biblical truths thus will be roadblocks to a believer's spiritual growth, like the Catholic Church, SDA, JW, United Church of God, and LDS. Even some 'non-denominational' churches have no gospel. I would ensure that a non-believer is preached the Lord Jesus crucified because to enter heaven one must be saved by grace and be a member of the spiritual body of Christ.

Also brother starfield is that many denominations and/or ministries preach a gospel that is one sided,
I Believe that there should be a balance. There should be rebuking, exhortation, encouragement and warnings as the Holy Spirit leads.
Speaking of prosperity without the essential Living a righteous, holy and dedicated life to GOD is false. and telling people to believe in the Lord, live a righteous, holy and dedicate life to GOD without telling them or teaching them how they could prosper in their physical as their spiritual tends to also cause questions.
Solomon said, If we gain riches we should not set our hearts to it. Again the Lord said, beware of covetousness a mans life is not on the things that HE has, key point being that we ought to live for GOD not for money and GOD comes with hundredfold and the blessings in the field, farm etc HE promised us..

Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Mat 23:24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

I preach from the Word of God what I know. More importantly, I teach others how to search the scriptures for themselves.
People who open the scriptures with me can know where I am coming from. On issues where others disagree with me, I often try to explain the position of those who disagree, and also why I believe what I believe. I continue to preach what I know - even though what I know today is different than what I "knew" three years ago. No apologies. No "hands off". If you don't want me to preach from the bible, don't drink tea with me.

I try to NEVER give my opinion, even when it is asked for. The world does not need my opinion.
God's point of view is sufficient. My opinion would only confuse.

that's it right there, i think ^
pentecostal, baptist, episcopal, methodist, non-denominational, w/e -- a church ought to preach, teach and walk the Word of God, and teach young believers to study it too.
it's shocking how many people can grow up in church, believing the Bible 'cover to cover' and never really know what's between those covers!

What I share is not my opinion but what has been revealed to me. The scripture tells me to be ready to give an answer to anyone that asks. They may ask, "why do you believe this or that?" Then I must be ready to give account of why:

1 Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

No man comes to Yeshua unless the Father draws him to Him. This has occurred with many, I for one, without the Father using a servant, but He uses anything or anyone He desires.

If the Father has not drawn the person to the Son, that person does not yet know the Son. It is written in the Word.

I sincerely hope no one here thinks a person can be saved without the Father bringing the new faithful to Him. This would be very sad.

Why on earth would anyone consider this Biblical advice?

"leave young children alone?"

The Church is surely responsible for bringing up children in the ways of God. Your idea would trash ever Sunday School program in every church today. Why on earth would anyone consider this Biblical advice?

awesome responses, i always try to let GOD do the speaking through me, and when He does not speak through me to both believers and non believers, i believe we know when the LORD wants us to speak, not because we KNOW but because it something to be said at that particular time to that particular person.. We see how our Lord and savior spoke, and every word He spoke had all the right settings hahaha.. Glory to GOD..!!..
