Raise the character limits in groups from 1000 to ?

So, I've noticed a bit of an issue with groups.

They're great, except being limited to 1000 characters makes for really short posts. You find yourself forced to break netiquette and double post. 2000 or even 3000 characters would be much better, while still keeping things pretty streamlined.
 
What? you don't like having to cut and paste a post twice to get it all in? :p

Well it has a certain squalor to it...

I like squalor. Don't let that get out though. People have to at least believe I have standards.

ServantStrike has a point Oncefallen. It takes a lot of effort to cut and paste these days. Holding CTRL and holding V down twice is a strain on the body and should not be attempted.
 
Its true. I've sprained my thumb repeatedly doing this. I now have permanent nerve damage in my thumb, and they say my finger is headed that way if i don't cut back. :rolleyes:
