I'm not a math whiz by any stretch of the imagination but I believe that 1x1x1=1.

My grandma Mary,...after me, her and grandpa came home from church.....

Grandma said to Grandpa....
"Well I know somebody in that church loves you more than I do Pops!"

Grandpa laughed at her and said...
"Who...is it Sister Mildred?"

Grandma said....
" No! It's Jesus, you silly ol' goose!" lol

Thanksgiving Day then Christmas.

I miss connecting with a kindred spirit. Especially emotionally. The physical aspect of it felt like something that I could give. A kiss, a hug, flirtatious pinches and all that other nasty stuff.

I miss that look they'd give. It was of appreciation, and respect.

It was easier to look into their eyes. Easier to find myself. Where I felt passionate and real. Connected, and apart of something more.

Maybe, that was only meant for that one time.

When I was a little girl...I was at the ER hospital waiting room with my grandma....and I remember a man sitting next me was waiting on a doctor.
Well an elderly gentleman sitting beside him....looked at the man and said
" Son I tell you what. You young men now a days with your earings in your ears is a cryin shame!"

Well the man said to him
" Mister I have you know I just went fishin, and as I cast my pole back the lure got caught in my ear...this is a jitterbug." lol

I sure miss my grandma

If you use the self check register at the grocery store and you buy anything like fresh fruit or fresh vegetables remember some fruit or vegetables are sold in a bag and only requires that you scan the bag.

I bought a bag of apples and looked at the barcode on one of the apples and typed the barcode in to add to my other items into the self check machine and the self check machine asked me to place the apples on the scale and I ended up paying over eight dollars instead of $4.99.

My mother always told me that bought sense Is better than nothing.

I still get the blessing to say this to my mom every day. Sure, we have our battles. Always did. But at the end of the day, it's still, I love you mom, goodnight. Many years went by when i was younger without me saying that, except maybe a dozen times a year. Out of 365 days, thats not too good. Grateful for God's grace and forgiveness, I try to remember to extend it. I dont often get it right. Saying I love you to mom is one small way. Thx for the reminder, lijo, to send an extra hug today.
