Just FYI, you can't read reps. They are just kudos given to the individual. There is nothing to read. Every time someone gives you a rep, you rep-power increases. The only thing that you can read will be the comment next to the rep itself

How ya doin'? I'm starting my brand new job tonight, which is a 12 hours shift. Actually, my shifts are 3 twelve our shifts and 4 days off, then the next week 4 twelve hour shifts and 3 days off. I guess it's bitter sweet.

The easiest way is to read them when they pop up under your Notifications, along with Likes and mail. There is a way to read them after the fact, but currently that way is bypassing my memory. If i do remember i'll post it here.

Actually you CAN read rep comments, if they leave a comment. Many don't, but some do.

I was speaking to how the rep system stands now and common sense.
Rep comments are almost always positive and the cumulative total will increase your rep power. To read, click on Reputation Comment under the Notification box. If a comment was left you will be able to read it. Sometimes the sender will also include their screen name. To give a rep comment click on the 6 sided star on the left hand bottom of the post you want to rep.

^ yes, this is how you look at your last few reputation comments.
at the top of the page - any page on the forum - there is a 'settings' button (next to 'my chat profile' and 'log out')
click that, and you are shown a list of 'subscribed threads with new posts' -- scroll down to the bottom of that page, and your last 7 reps are listed, as well as the last 7 reps you gave, along with comments (if any). clicking on any of those will take you to the post that you were repped for or that you gave rep for.
