The justification by faith of Jesus Christ in Scripture, is the justification by works in Scripture.

δικαίωσις denotes God’s definitive judicial act by which He declares sinners righteous on the basis of the atoning work and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Faith is being counted for righteousness. Works is being righteous.

ASKING FOR ETERNAL LIFE

Scripture consistently teaches that salvation & the Holy Spirit are received by: calling (Acts 2:21 & Rom 10:13), asking (Jn 4:10 & Lk 11:13), believing (1 Cor 15:1-4 & Jn 3:14-18) & NOT by: performing, enduring, obeying, working or maintaining.

THE POST‑ACTS‑10 CHALLENGE: THE BODY‑OF‑CHRIST SALVATION PATTERN
Once Acts 10 establishes the Gentile pattern, the New Testament never again ties justification or Holy Spirit baptism to anything but faith. If anyone claims otherwise, let them produce a single post‑Acts‑10 verse where salvation is conditioned on something other than believing the gospel of Jesus Christ.

And here is the dirtily little hidden lie of all faith-alone justification 'without' works. Because such justification is not without works, but is always with works of unrighteousness, more or less.

Therefore, their real claim is being justified by faith-alone, apart from their unrighteous works, not without any works at all.

Genuine faith, while never the meritorious ground, necessarily bears the fruit that vindicates its reality before others and ultimately before God.

This is the self-condemning error, of those that seek justification by faith-alone apart from works, but also seek to justify their faith by works: Once works judge the faith, then faith cannot justify without works.

Of course, most faith-alone justifiers, just keep their justification with God always apart from their works, lest their works should justify or condemn them with God. They only allow their works to justify them with men alone, not with God:

SANTIFICATION DEFINITION

By faith in Jesus Christ: No transgressing against God.

By faith-alone: Continued transgressing against God, more or less.

Transgressors' gradual incomplete sanctification and sinful religion, is not the whole sanctification and pure religion of Jesus Christ.

Whenever you here some sinner talking about extreme or radical, then the righteous know it's extremely radical changing of Scripture into a lie.

To affirm loss of salvation, one must affirm:

Christ's once‑for‑all act is reversible - God's legal declaration can be overturned - The Holy Spirit's seal can be broken - The Spirit's FOREVER indwelling is not forever - The guarantee does not guarantee - Eternal life is not eternal - Aorist‑tense salvation verbs are actually conditional - Lexicons, grammars & theological dictionaries are all wrong. No NT author teaches any of this.

Justification / Spirit baptism = Christ's initiating act & God’s legal declaration of the believer's eternal life

Indwelling / sealing = Holy Spirit's eternal ongoing ministry

THE GLORY OF CHRIST WHO SECURES HIS OWN
Jesus Christ is the Creator (Jn 1:3), the Redeemer who gave Himself for our sins (Gal 1:4), the Mediator between God & humanity (Heb 9:15), the One who indwells believers (Rom 8:9–11), the Sustainer who keeps us to the end (1 Cor 1:8), the righteous Judge of all (Jn 5:22), the faithful & gracious Lord who never abandons His own (2 Tim 2:13 & Heb 13:5). He is the Alpha & the Omega (Rev 22:13) & all who trust Him rest in His finished work, His present intercession & His eternal faithfulness. All praise, glory & honor belong to Him. Amen.

We see here that unrepented transgressors are not justified with God. Transgressing the commandments of God must cease, in order to enter into the kingdom of God. Only by repentance of all transgressing, can anyone keep God's commandments.

And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink? Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

We see here that keeping our Lord's commandments is good, but it is not profitable to our Lord's kingdom. It is only what all must do to abide therein. No one is rewarded for keeping the commandments alone, since trasngression is death.

Once again, we see that Jesus loves all His people keeping His commandments, but unless we go on to personally serve and follow Him, we lack the one thing He loves most:

These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

Once again, the beginning of faith toward God and salvation, is repentance and keeping His commandments. But perfection in His faith and kingdom is only by the profit of doing what is not as by commandment alone: Personally obeying Him at His word of service and good pleasure.

That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

James{2:21}

When Abraham offered up his only son to the LORD at His word, he was not keeping a commandment, but making a personal Friend.

And so, we see that repentance to keep God's commandments is the beginning of His salvation, but is only the beginning, not an end in itself.

And so, all that repent and keep the commandments of God in His kingdom of righteousness, are rewarded with resurrection from the dead unto life. But only them that take up the cross to personally serve and follow Him in all things, shall be justified and called His Friend, even as Abraham:

Eternal salvation, is a one time event, when a sinner, by the will of the Father, believes in the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus, who gives them eternal life because of that belief. Salvation by grace, through faith in Jesus.

John 3:16, 5:24, 6:40, Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 10:9-10.

Acts of service after this, are the right response from the believer to having been given this eternal salvation. The Holy Spirit indwelling the believer, will spur them on to serve Him.

These acts though..are not part of eternal salvation, but daily deliverance from trials and tribulations.

Saved eternally vs a salvaged life.

Justification vs sanctification.

Your Justification isn't dependent on your daily service. If it were, we would all have no chance, as flawed beings.

BECAUSE we are born again and have a new heart we become obedient to the Lord which is what walking in the Spirit is.

Walking in the flesh is living in sin and when a Christian turns away from walking with the Lord back to walking after the flesh they are willingly being disobedient and they reap corruption and forfeit their right standing with the Lord Jesus

We all reap what we sow. No way around that and what Jesus did at the Cross does not take away the fact that we reap what we so as the Lord teachings in Galatians 6 where He even lets us know it is mocking God to say we don't reap corruption when we sin which is what sowing to the flesh is.

Choosing to walk with the Lord. The power to do so is the Holy Spirit but the Spirit does not force anybody to walk with the Lord.

They must choose to walk with the Lord.

Then some get born again and start walking with the Lord and decide later to forsake Him and go back to being a sinner

Wrong. You have it backwards. Those verses clearly state that the activity of God...giving a new heart and giving His Spirit...leads to obedience. They do not say we choose and then God acts. They reveal that God acts and we respond.
